I'm so excited for crash!that! helicopter!week!

I love this fandom so much, and I've missed parts of the bucktommy fandom so much, lovely people who had to step away from this place...

But I want to share this excitement with anyone who wants to be a part of it, and I'm really excited! (I already said that I know lol).

I already have some ideas for fics, maybe I'll try drawing something, maybe I'll post for the first time on an AO3 collection for a fan event. So I want these next two weeks to be me, these characters, and this fandom that has some of the funniest, kindest, and most creative people I've ever seen. ❤️🚁✨

We're so done! (Final Day)

A whole week of crashing that helicopter is nearing its end. We collected more than 200k words – and you devoured them. Now is the time to thank every single one of you who wrote something new, no matter how long or short, and those who reblogged their older fics. The helicopter crashed in a lot of ways!

A big thank you also goes to our brilliant artists! We loved all of your works, including the moodboards and additional fic decor. Nevertheless, please allow us a special thank you to @kitty-tommykinarddefender – I think everyone in the community was biting their nails to see how that story would end.

Last but not least, thank you to all the readers and rebloggers, who motivated us to make this event in the first place! And please give a round of applause to @myspumoni who made a post, I think it was 2-3 weeks ago, with the innocent question "how about a crash-that-helicopter-week"... and here we are ;) Also, they were always there when I needed ideas. Thank you!

We hope you're making good use of our last day by reading, commenting, giving kudos or... maybe some last minute drabbles? The community will eat it up, I'm sure.

happy vent abt the Bucktommy nation:

This fandom has made me sooooo happy, especially since Nov 6th 🥹🥹

I met wonderful people, got back to writing and found my mental health going up like it hadn't in a long time

Thank you soooo much for being such a welcoming wonderful fandom! I've been lurking in fandom spaces for years, and never have I felt like I belonged until now
