I have a secret to tell.

When my child forgets to clean the bird cage, I clean it as soon as she leaves for school. She then gets a talk when she gets home about cage cleaning and why it’s important.

I let those birds out right after she leaves and put them up before she gets home so she can let them out. That way she can feel the importance of her birds being free.

I change their water and food when she forgets. I trim toes because she cannot do so safely. I check their vents, feet, wings, eyes, ceres, and tummies daily.

My child got pets to help her learn to be responsible. It is my job to make sure their safety, wellbeing, and happiness are maintained as her parent. Pets enrich our lives, but we need to remember that they are not playthings.

I have a budgie named Luke. Unfortunately due to his inability to properly use the Force, his leg was eaten by a dog. But don't worry Rebecka keeps him happy. DIRTY PEOPLE! REBCKA'S ONLY TRUE LOVE IS ROSEY!

Koichi has a soft chest. When she lets me, I'll put my lips on her and try to make budgie noises. She just pecks at my eyes. But she's so soft! Like fluff in a pillow, but smoother.
