💭 - Any favorite head canons/ theories?
Like what was discussed earlier today, I am 100% onboard with Elsa being a workaholic who has to be DRAGGED away from her paperwork by Anna to have some fun, because for Odin’s sake you work too much Elsa! And it would be fun if this turned out to be canon in F2.
Elsa: *has fallen asleep on her desk*Anna: “ELSA LOOK OUTSIDE! IT SNOWED!! DO YOU WANNA BUILD A SNOWMAN?”Elsa: “mmphm?”

She likes them but watchs them the complete opposite way than normal people do. She doesn't think there is any suspense in them. She watches them as comedy since they are full of flaws. Pre-reveal: she has to keep a low profile and behave the same way as Anna. post-reveal: she laughs and points at the flaws all the time. She also makes comments on how it actually should be done. Making Anna uncomfortable or plainly annoyed.

Here’s some more food for thought: Assuming that she likes them for the comedic value rather than suspense, and to her level of experience, the action scenes and/or fighting in the films is flawed... If she has one of her coffee- or sleep-deprived moments, would she try to emulate any of it (regardless of whether it works)? @frozenartscapes @wandering-bard-from-the-id
My Java class is covering if-then-else statements this week, and loop statements next week; this is pretty much just review of what we learned in C class, albeit with Java nuances. And I once again have the itch to write a Domestic Assassin AU fic titled “If-Then-Elsa”, which would satisfy the statement:
if (mission == “normal”) pickAgent(); else Elsa();
Or, perhaps more concisely:

I didn't think you were dismissive; I just hadn't considered it & assumed Elsa's stash ran out... Again. (Poor Elsa: we laugh at her as she tries to cope w/o coffee, taking pleasure in her pain. But it's OK, because we inflict this suffering on her out of love. Yeah, that's it. It's out of love.)

Y'know, with all the fics we do about Elsa’s coffee addiction... I wonder if any of her other... coworkers have a coffee problem? Seems to me if there was one (and I have one in mind; the OC I haven’t done much with yet), that would be something Elsa could make friends over: a shared love of coffee.

Hi Bug.
Did you see my attempt at “[name] replied to your DA!post]”? Also, saw this on Twitter & got thinking: what if Elsa is pissed she missed her shot & spooked her target (who goes dark for 1 wk) bc a coworker/D called her new all-Org-channels phone which she hadn’t had time to change to vibrate-no-sound setting, & coffee is keeping her sane at home, preventing any neck-wringing? (or worse!)
@chooseandact - I did not, because I’m still not getting notifications when you tag me (but I see it now, and it looks fine to me otherwise). The only thing I can think of to alleviate this no-notifying problem is for me to follow you, so that I don’t miss your posts. (Which I probably should have done from the beginning. Maybe that will fix the problem—I honestly have no idea.)
That is a fascinating idea, and sounds like a new one. Though I don’t know how “sane” even coffee could keep Elsa in such a situation—seems to me like she’d be banging her head against a wall, like her sister headdesking over neuroscience. 😂
However, this is definitely worth a write. (@frozenartscapes, flip a coin to write this one? I already have several DA!verse fics I should be working on...)
A little DA!verse headcanon.
I’ve been pondering this for the last few days, ever since there was a James Bond movie marathon on TV. After watching one of them in passing (GoldenEye, one of my favorites), I started thinking: what would DA!Elsa think about spy movies in general? I mean, I know she’s not a spy (except a little bit in that one Thanksgiving fic Colleen did), but would she like them, or not?
By my reasoning, there are a couple of ways this headcanon could go:
Pre-reveal (A): Elsa likes spy movies, and Anna, being in the dark about her true occupation, isn’t sure why.
Post-reveal (A): If Elsa didn’t show interest in them before, once Anna knows, she encourages Elsa to try watching some. And Elsa either likes them, laughs at the absurdity or clichéd-ness of the plots and characters, or dismisses them as just “okay”.
What do you guys think? @frozenartscapes @chooseandact @kalikoke @raksha-the-demon @hathor-frozen, et al.
Pausing hiatus for quick Q: Which do you think would be funnier? DA!Elsa lets slip a crazy idea Anna immediately disapproves of when muttering to herself (E: *humph*And you likely wouldn't like X, either... A: And what's X?), or letting idea slip when on phone with accomplice and wrongly thinking Anna's out of earshot?
Hmm… I’m going to say option B sounds funnier in my head:
Elsa: …and then I’m going to scale down this cliff, which is like 200 feet—Anna, overhearing: OH, NO SHE’S NOT! YOU CAN FORGET IT, D, ELSA’S TAKING THAT DAY OFF!!
Or something along those lines. 😂 But both options could be made to play out pretty funny, really.

I’m picturing Anna rounding a corner in hot pursuit of Elsa only to be met with a wall of floating snowballs all ready to crash down on her like a tidal wave. 😆 But whatever works best I guess!
I hadn’t originally intended for Elsa to use her magic in this story, but the more I think about it, that might be a good way to bring about the ending. Out of ammo, Elsa would “cheat” by using her powers in some fashion, Anna calls foul (before or after falling on ice), and maybe makes Elsa fall, too. Then they can call it a draw. 😅
