I've been playing Morrowind lately again, and I've learned that if your Personality stat is low enough, Dunmer start talking to you about how you betrayed the clan, and should watch your back.

It has no relation to any faction. They just hate your guts so much they need you to know that if you are in any clan whatsoever, you have betrayed said clan by being so repulsive. They went to your clan island and everybody hated your ass.
