Dude idk maybe I'm insensitive but it's getting really annoying when someone is doing anything remotely "over consumption"-ish and the comments are just going on and on about how full the landfills are going to be.
Like holy shit can you shut up? Like it's one thing when the overconsumption is makeup that's going to expire in a year packed full in a bathroom drawer but you're telling me that only ONE person is going to appreciate a jelly cat bunny? That's a pretty good looking stuffed animal! Surely that will last way longer then any makeup product.
"oh but think of the environment!!"
Billionaires harm the environment more then some random tiktoker will. Taylor swift alone with her private jets do more harm then 98% of the population.
Yes be mindful but at this point you're just shitting on someone because.. they have a trendy item? They like cute stuffed animals?
Hoarding is one thing but it's rarely ever an actual hoarding situation.
Besides not to be that guy but if you look at someone with 17,463 lip balms and are like "ugh I should do that" then you probably shouldn't be on the internet if you're THAT easily influenced. Some people need to realize that while influencers are scummy, you also shouldn't be silly enough to be influenced by said scum.
"oh but viewing that stuff will normalize it!"
If it does then stop watching it. Idk how this is a difficult concept.
