So I didn't ever have much of an opinion of this until recently when watching someone blindly read it (spaced out puffin on YouTube, go check her out, shes great) and thought of it in the context of knowing about Jun Wu being Bai WuXiang. So, for yall who don't remember, the whole reason the land of the tender stuff happens is because bwx literally sends them after Xl to break his cultivation

He fully wanted Xl to be forced to break his cultivation under the influence of the pollen (or what ever it was). I feel like we already know he's an awful man (especially if your reading this) but thinking about this makes Jun Wu feel so much worse. I mean hes very creepy throughout everything but something about this just makes feel worse? Maybe other people already contextualized this but idc

I know that people refer to the 100 stabinng scene as an allegory for SA, and I definitely see it that way but Jun Wu actually did try and have that happen to Xie Lian, even if it's not by his own hand

I think this is honestly the most uncomfortable thing in this scene, not the underage Hualain stuff, which tbh i think was fine though the same message could have been passed on with less accidental touching
