Calling artists who draw/paint/sketch buildings for help:

As someone who is used to only drawing portraits and people, what is the best way to start with architecture and cities? Of course, the only way to learn how to draw is simply do it, and I know that, but architecture is just something I can never seem to get right. Any ideas? Are there videos you can watch, books you can read, or simply copying what you see outside? What can you recommend?
