SOFT-BUTCH

Tried my hand at a Soft-Butch flag loosely inspired by the orange butch flag (link). This flag is inclusive of all soft-butches of any gender and orientation!

What is a Soft-Butch?

A soft-butch is someone who exhibits some butch or androgynous traits without fully adhering or fitting in the hard masculine stereotype that one may usually associate with the butch identity. A soft-butch expresses ones masculinity while maintaining a touch of femininity.

Some people may consider soft-butch to be synonymous or having a similar experience with chapstick, futch, butchfemme or stemme. (Stemme being exclusive to Black individuals.)
