In the tail end of my supernatural rewatch and it's so heavy. It's horrible. It's difficult particularly not only because I know what's coming but also because, like, you can tell the writers knew what they were doing. They knew it was ending, and they knew they were ending it in one of the worst possible ways. They knew what they were doing and lwk I still don't think I can forgive them for it yet
I am back... And feeling a little angsty, so pardon me if this is horrible and cringe.
Reader who's never been allowed to express or regulate emotions. As a result he is emotionally unavailable (I think is the word) and turns angry and aggressive every time he's vulnerable or feels threatened.
He's in a relationship with Nikolai (MW reboot) and they get in a small discussion because Nikolai did something as small as interrupt whilst reader is doing his "empty the dishwasher routine" for example (just something stupid). Nik tries to understand what went wrong, but reader feels threatened and turns very mean, ends up saying things he don't mean.
Nik is sad but understanding and it ends with loving fluff :(
I'm just gonna leave this here like a cat leaving a dead mouse at the door... Same thing with reader as before, rather using he or you than Y/N or M/N :D

Nikolai hummed, pausing the song he was listening to in his headphones; he grinned, leaning against the counter. You were emptying the dishwasher; a quiet, idle routine that you did most evenings. It was a meditation, of sorts, being able to turn off your mind. The action was necessary for you, though, Nik had just ruined it.
"Is nice evening, do you want to watch movie?", Nik mumbled, wrapping his arms around your back, he pressed a kiss to your neck; you didn't understand why this sweet action and innocent question had upset you so much; you tensed up and ignored his question and actions.
"Did I do something?", Nikolai questioned, letting go of you and stepping back; he raised his eyebrow and gave you a concerned look.
".....just. Fuck off, you always make things worse.", you mumbled, stuttering a second in your routine, you wanted to apologize, you really did, but the word didn't come out;
Nikolai froze, giving you a hurt look but quietly walking away.
Your words had haunted you the entire day, repeating like a mantra, a mockery. You don't know how you survived the day, but now; here you were, standing in your shared bedroom with an upset Nik sitting on the edge of his side on the bed.
You quietly sat down next to him, looking away. You sat in silence for a few minutes, and then, the words, "I'm sorry", left your mouth. "I...I didn't mean that, I love you—I do, I just—", you sighed.
Nikolai gently rested his hand on top of yours, "I understand, we'll sort it out in morning, if you want.", your mouth felt dry, but you nodded.
Nik kissed your cheek, and lay down the bed, you followed short, pressing your cheek against his chest.
"...I...can we watch the movie you wanted to see?..", you mumbled, Nikolai nodded; his eyes were still sad, but he knew you wanted to apologize.
"I love you", you whispered softly.
