Crazy when music holds significance for a character and we know what kinds of music they listen to. Crazy when the character is a gay kid in the 80s who is a music snob and who loves the Cure and David Bowie and probably the Smiths and. Crazy when music is a signal and a code and a secret and a conversation and a comfort and a part of who you are. Something about it is soooo important to me but it's really hard to articulate
