I can't believe Owen Owengejuicetv really said "I'm done being the brown haired orange eyed big-brother-coded low-key fruity child soldier who killed their closest friend as a breaking point and misses them after being evil and hypocritical and gets doomed to die which is why he realizes he was in the wrong and the next closest person to him who is like a little sister to him decides to not save him and risk her own life to do it." and then said "I'm gonna be funny lion man" and passed the mantle onto Nominalgravy.

c!Owen is so funny to me, especially how he feels regret. (Unless specified everyone is in reference to their outsiders character)

Like there 3 main times I can name right now (without doing a 12th rewatch) where Owen feel regret- before Apo escapes the prison, when he almost dies because he suppressed his emotions and supposedly before he dies in the meltdown.

The first time is really interesting because he has doubled down on the whole 'Hating Apo' thing, calling them "vile" and refusing to meet with them. And even when he does, Owen's objectively cruel to Apo- yelling at them and practically begging them to not acknowledge their past friendship. Its clear that he does not like Apo. But after the beach episode and getting to spend time with the friend he once knew, Owen goes crying to the entrance about how "sorry" He is. Owen is sorry and regretful too late to do anything to his now mostly destroyed friendship.

He's once again seen as regretful for his actions in the episode where he's in a weird coma thing (someone call Sam Tyler am I right?). He's told by his subconscious (Aish) that the thing he feels most regretful about is how the prison visit went. Obviously this is influenced by the recent loss of his friend to the maze. I also think it's very interesting that he doesn't feel remorse or regret for most of the other actions he's shown- such as his ignorance to the people who disagree with him. Instead what he's most regretful about is something he can do nothing about, he's regretful towards what he believes is a dead person. Once again too late to begin to be truely sorry or apologise to Apo.

Finally, Owen also expresses some sort of regret to Magic in the meltdown. Whether you agree if he is actually sorry for what he did, he still expresses and claims that he is. Again Owen's apologies and regrets come in too late for anything to be done. He's already brutally murdered almost every demon inside of the maze, and it seems he only begins to care when he realises it's too late for him.

I’ve often thought about o!magic and her relationship to death (maybe it’s the introjectism. Help.) and I personally think she’s the canary. She’s the warning. Remember a canary in a coal mine is basically a warning that proceeding could mean death since canaries are more sensitive to the air underground, and faint whenever danger is near. People often imply canaries are the first to die, but that’s not their purpose. It’s to warn the miner that something is wrong.

She was the one to warn clearing 2 verbally about the gate and the griever. Arguably the reason squidney dies is trying to protect her and Magic freezes.. Squidney proceeds and then dies. Ash also died trying to protect Magic. She’s indirectly involved in some of the deaths of the demons too, with Owen actually using her as bait for Rasbi. Bek and soup also both had magic as a warning/precursor to their deaths, with soups being more direct w/ magic trying to save her/stop the threat however this is no use. Beks is less direct but she’s still there; the warning.

You could also make an argument for her showing up before owens death as well. She’s also a metaphorical warning there, though less direct. Anyway c!magic is the canary in a coal mine of outsiders and I’m so normal about her!

sleepy duo - magic & oeca - reason? my silly friend/lil brother @skywardspecter and I are the sleepiest guys ever and we're literally them (im magic, he's oeca. Further proof bellow (/silly)(also art by my lil bro)

knife duo - krow & oeca - reason? both are heavily associated with knives and are the two that use it the most imo. also ipad duo is a stupid name and aint even a funny joke /lh

minor trio - krow, magic, oeca - reason? they're all canonical minors... this started as mostly a joke but ive started actually calling them that lmao. if u do wanna use it i think its funny tbh.

sunset trio - magic, ayngel, mae - reason? this one is more headcanon based. but i like to imagine they were a trio back in B clearing, liked to watch the sunset together and had a lil stand where they sold silly colorful summer drinks like smoothies, shaved ice, etc. I also think many ppl in clearing B had matching bracelets they all made some times around the campfire, some exchanged their creations, other had matching ones for their different friendgroups, duos, trios and more! Here's the sunset trio one, it also has sunset colors!
