[DBS AU - What-If - Kale Black AU]
Story prompt:
-This AU takes place after both TOP and Zamasu/Future Trunks Arc -Even though Zeno blipped out all supposed traces of Zamasu physically from the timelines, a pocket dimension where both Infinite Zamasu and another version lives.
-The Infinite Zamasu spirit is a piece of his surviving will spirit that split from the main tl into the pocket dimension before Zeno destroyed the tl. There, there's a female version of Zemasu unaware of what happened in the main tl.
-Zamasu's spirit links with Femasu's consciousness and informs her of everything that happened in the main tl. He wishes for her to carry out the Zero Mortal's Plan starting by killing both Goku and Vegeta.
-At first, Femasu doesn't concern herself with another's motives as she has her own. But Infinite Zamasu promises her unimaginable power that cannot be challenged if she works with him. She agrees but events will be chosen and made in her favor.
-She takes an interest in Kale while watching godtube. She has no particular interest in her outside of her Legendary power. She also notices she's around Caulifla a lot and plans to manipulate her feelings/relationship with her to gain enough trust for Kale to agree to fusing.
-Femasu lures Kale away from Caulifla and Cabba. Femasu starts a conversation mentioning Caulifla. Kale believes her to be another intrusive threat so she starts a fight. Femasu overpowers her stating she lets her emotions get the best of her. Kale sits in anguish realizing it's true.
-She confides in Femasu wishing she could be stronger emotionally/confident so she could be there for Caulifla. Femasu then whispers sweet nothings at her promising all that and more if she agreed to her help. Kale agrees. Femasu obtains the Super Dragonballs.
-Femasu then wishes for her and Kale's consciousness to be shared to one body resulting in Kale Black. Inside Kale's consciousness, Femasu now has control of both Kale's normal and Legendary consciousness. Infinite Zamasu now instructs her to inact their revenge plot.
-Meanwhile, Vegeta takes Cabba up on his offer to visit Planet Sadala. Goku tags along too. They meet him and Caulifla ready to spend the day with them, even have customized Sadalan armor/fits made. Caulifla thinks it's lame.
-During the height of their festivities, Caulifla asks Cabba if he's seen Kale around. She's been gone for 2 days. Upon the mention of her name, she appears above them but she looks completely different. Vegeta notices her new outfit and shouts that it's Zamasu again.
-Caulifla is confused and says it's Kale to which Vegeta insists it's him based on the get-up. Kale Black makes her introduction and recollects on the events that lead to main tl Zamasu's demise. She then expresses her own personal distain for Goku and Vegeta for TOP.
-Fighting ensues and Kale Black has the upper hand with Infinite Zamasu providing knowledge of their past fights to predict/counter their attacks. Caulifla asks Kale Black why do all this. Kale Black stops her assault to fly over to Caulifla.
-She gently cups her hands saying she's being strong for her sake. She tells Caulifla that it could just be them always. Caulifla says that's not the Kale she knows and rejects her notion. Destraught by the rejection, Kale then starts to yell uncontrollably.
-Enraged, she then attacks Caulifla who is forced to defend herself. She knocks Caulifla down with Cabba catching her mid-air. Inside Kale's consciousness, Femasu places a rose thorn crown around her Legendary's head for control. Kale Black then transform into her Legendary form with the thorn crown present.
-Goku and Vegeta recollect their last fight with her and say it cold be a better outcome if Caulifla and Cabba fight too. Caulifla says she doesn't want to fight Kale and has to be a means to get through to her. The Legendary attacks them all and coupled with Infinite and Femasu's power from within strengthens her damage, speed, and durability.
-It's a struggle for a while. The Legendary looks to boom all of Sadala in an enhanced explosion wave. While charging, Caulifla makes the last attempt to talk Kale down from within. Femasu notices that Kale's normal consciousness starts to respond, weakening her hold on control.
-The rose thorn crown on the Legendary's head starts to crack. Vegeta then tells Caulifla to just keep talking to her. While Caulifla keeps speaking, Vegeta drifts behind the Legendary while distracted and pops up from behind to break the thorn crown around her head.
-This allows for both Kale's consciousness to regain control and the shock expels Femasu out of her body. She's exposed. To everyone's shock, Goku asks why it's a girl Zamasu. Femasu takes offense to be spoken to so lowly. Infinite Zamasu's spirit begins speaking through Femasu.
-Infinite Zamasu then proclaims his revenge and a fight ensues between Goku, Vegeta, and Cabba. On the ground, Kale barely conscious and in tears tells Caulifla she's sorry for hurting her. Caulifla tells her it's alright and that she's proud of her.
-She then turns her attention to Femasu saying they have to find a way to beat her. Kale states that she retained some of Femasu and Infinite Zemasu's memories of the main tl. She says that Beerus destroyed a Zamasu using technique known as "hakai".
-Caulifla wonders if the same trick can work twice. Caulifla then yells for Vados. Vados appears before them, greeting them. Hastily, Vados asks if Champa could come here. Vados asks the reason and Caulifla franticly asks her to just do it.
-With the thump of her staff, Champa appears beside her, appearing to be eating something. Champa asks why he was interrupted from his meal time. Caulifla explains the situation and asks if he could destroy Femasu by using the hakai move.
-Champa doesn't see the need to do it at first. When told that Beerus did it first, it then enrages Champa out of competitive jealousy. Champa then agrees to do it but he wants to make it look "cooler" than when Beerus did it.
-As the fight continues with Femasu, she begins to gloat on relishing becoming the ultimate being once every mortal has been killed after. Champa appears behind her, unbeknownst to her as of yet. Goku, Vegeta, and Cabba visibly relax their stance.
-Femasu takes this as a sign of surrender and before she can full chastise them, Champa then grabs both of her arms from behind. He says a cheesy one-liner before Hakai’ing her.
-As her body breaks down into particles, she tells Infinite Zamasu that she did not forsee this event to happen again. History repeats itself. The last of her particles dissipates into thin air.
-Champa is overjoyed to have been the hero and takes pride in looking better doing it than Beerus. He can’t wait to rub it in. Everyone makes there way back over to where Caulifla is holding Kale.
-Kale is unconscious and Caulifla tells everyone she’ll be alright from now on. Cabba asks if Goku and Vegeta will have to go after this. The pair look at each other and nod. They’ll stay for a while longer.
Champa shouts questioning why they didn’t ask him to tag along and give them the grand tour of universe 6 instead of only Sadala. Vados ends by telling Champa it's time for his nap.
