I'm in desperate need to see more content of Hephaestus with Aglaea, Cabeiro, Aetna, Atthis, Helios, Thetis, Achilles, Eurynome, his sisters in law Euphrosyne & Thalia, any of his sisters through Hera, Erichthonius, Pandora, any of his various immortal children, or even his former stepson Eros (if he's written as Aphrodite's son alone like he was in several myths)

He has so many family members and friends who his relationships with are painfully underexplored

Cabeiro deserves more love from people who claim to love Hephaestus (She didn't give birth to 5 of his kids just to be ignored!)

I understand that ppl want Hephaestus and Aphrodite to be friendly exes (or at least had a messy break up but resolved their issues afterwards) but that’s more like his relationship with Cabeiro, he doesn’t seem to be in a relationship with her in most sources, but it’s clear (at least in the Dionysiaca) that he cares deeply for their sons and also that they seem to be on good terms.

So there is pretty much nothing about Cabeiro other than she had children with Hephaestus and that she was the daughter of Proteus. So I’ll make some shit up:

She’s basically Ursula from TLM but a good guy and pretty cool

She was with Hephaestus before he returned to mount Olympus

Their relationship lost its spark overtime and they drifted apart, especially after their children became adults and there was no reason to stay together

Despite breaking up they are still on good terms

She is friends with Thetis and the Charities, especially Euphrosyne

She was one of the ppl to encourage Aglaia to confess her feelings to Hephaestus
