Any one wanna talk about it now??? XD
Found this fun drawing today....
Depends on how hard you hit me...
Let’s talk about scene(s).
If Bucky brings out Steve’s dark side, then Wanda brings out Clint’s.
I’m convinced he’s not mad at Tony so much as he’s just pissed off in general.
Natasha actually has to ask, “We’re still friends, right?” And that smile he gives her in response...
He’s enjoying this waaaaay too much. Maybe just a joyride from being back from retirement, but I don’t think so.
He obviously planned THIS speech:
(Which, by the way, was beautiful in a really disheartening way. [I think Renner forgot this was a comic book movie...] If he doesn’t win an Oscar for this scene I think I’ll have a fit)
Fact is, Wanda brings out that side in Clint that says “No. That’s enough,” just like Bucky does for Steve. She’s been experimented on and manipulated and mistreated her entire life, and then her brother went and died, sickeningly prematurely, to save Clint.
She’s his. Daughter, little sister, ward, whatever you want. He doesn’t just owe her a debt. He’d do anything for her. He wasn’t forgetting about his family when he broke the law. He was thinking about them before anything else...ALL of them, not just the ones left behind on the farm.
He left because Cap needed their help, but also because a little Maximoff did. He won’t stop until she’s safe. Until Bucky and Natasha and every one of those poor, strong, brave, beautiful little brainwashed assassins are out of chains and safe, living their lives out there in the real world.
That’s what Clint really cares about. And Tony (not the first time Clint’s been betrayed by a brother, remember) took that away from him.
Any thoughts?
