In summary, Rick Gomez put his bussy into his Zack Fair performance…and Caleb Pierce did not.

Yet it was the death of Zack Fair that got me the most.

Tbf I always thought Rick Gomez sounded too old for the character. Same goes for Steve Burton as Cloud.

That's not to say I don't think Rick was a good va because he was.

Caleb for the most part was very good. He had a few scenes that were a bit iffy, and those were mostly the early chapters, but once he settled into the role he was good. He sounds young, energetic and friendly, which is what Zack is. He bounces off the other characters well, especially Cloud. I think given Cody has a bit more experience now after Remake, Caleb benefits from that and their performance together was really good.

I'm not a fan of zerith, because Aerith, but he plays the scenes well and even I admitted they were cute together.

I honestly didn't have any complaints about the voice acting. My complaints are more about the combat and how slow Zack is to cast magic and abilities. He gets knocked down really easily and that makes me mad 😂
