While eating your popcorn and watching Jason Statham’s “Meg 2”, consider how many people that the Megalodon must eat every day to maintain it’s weight. These handy new posters will help you figure it out. You’ll also need an estimate of how much a Meg weighs. Here’s Wikipedia’s estimate:
“a 20.3-meter (67 foot) monster would have topped off at 103 metric tons (114 tons)”
Getting really sick and tired of people and media saying "Israel is putting Palestinians on diet", because that's so out of touch on what happened in Palestine.
This is where that came from. And I'm done. This fuels diet culture and Israel, no matter if you're for or against diet culture. Say it for what it is. Starvation. Israel starving Palestinians. Not "putting them on a diet", not "calorie counting", say starving Palestinians, because it is what happened. Absolute vile behaviour from Israel must never be tolerated at any level. No massaging the narrative, it's helping Isn'trael. Don't bullshit around it.
And by the way because of this finding is how you know the 2000 calories mark is complete bullshit. Palestinians would die of starvation at 2200 calories.
I am very clear about support to Palestinians, because my home country has been through these times in our history, and seeing Palestinians going through the same thing but significantly worse saddens me so much.

Defence ministry files on 'avoiding' civilian malnutrition are proof Israel used food restrictions to hit Hamas, says Palestine group
Breakfast at 9:15am: the usual two toasts with 30gr low fat quark ~10gr honey and 10gr 🍓 jam + coffee w. soy milk and biscuit
Lunch at 4:20pm: two toasts with soft cheese, cottage cheese and 20gr cheese 🧀 so much cheese xD and a few cherry tomatoes (oh and an unpictured apple)
Dinner at 8:30pm: ~70gr spaghetti with chili and tomato sauce + after dinner cup of coffee with soy milk and a biscuit
I'm so happy I'm becoming less and less obsessed with the exact amount of calories or grams of the food I weigh, I'm aiming to get to 1300kcals within the next few months and I feel like I'll be able to do this ^^
I’ve been MIA for a couple days! It was mine and my fiancé’s 4 year anniversary so I got off track a bit! February is hard for me because it’s our anniversary, Valentine’s, and my birthday all in a couple weeks! It may put a road bump but hasn’t detoured my want for progress. This year on top of all of this we are about to move states for a job opportunity for my fiancé. It has caused a bit of stress eating 🤣. BUUUUT. Weight loss journeys have ups and downs and it’s all going to be okay! You only fail when you give up!
