Interfellowship

Today, I went to an interfellowship event and it was better than what I expected. God reminded me (yet once again) of who He is.

What is this interfellowship event, you ask? It’s this monthly (or aiming to be monthly, I think) event where all the different fellowships on school campus come together in prayer and worship. I went to their first one this term last month and I thought it was really cool! I knew I had to come out to the second one and it was awesome being able to worship with a bunch of strangers, who praises the same God you do. 

In one of their worship sets, two songs were played and it got me really emotional. It just reminded me of how weak I am and how life can easily get to me, causing me to stumble or fall away from the Lord. But I’m also reminded that our God is a God who answers when we call. He’s a God who never fails even though we do, and who is strong even when we are weak. I’m reminded of all my past struggles and how God came to my rescue. I’m reminded of my current struggles and how God is still at work in my life in these circumstances. May these songs be songs of encouragement to you too!
