Canon EOS 250D Taken on 10/06/2022. * From Greta Garbo and Frank Sinatra to Steven Spielberg and Beyoncé, celebrities have been captivated by the picturesque little harbours that dot the shores of the Italian Riviera, stretching along the northwest coast of Italy in the Liguria region. And just inland are some tremendously appealing mountain towns like Dolceacqua and Apricale to the west, and Ameglia and Montemarcello to the east. Inland from Genoa is Campo Ligure, a full-blown chocolate box of pastel-coloured houses, all sporting dark green shutters. You'd be mad to miss it! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: 🚆 Take a train from Genova Piazza Principe or Genova Brignole station heading for Acqui Terme. ______________________________________ #CampoLigure #Liguria #RoadToLiguria #BorghItalia #VivoGenova #VolgoGenova #DiarioTricolore_Liguria #SiViaggiare_Liguria #ItaliaStyle_Liguria #Loves_United_Liguria #Liguria_Illife #TurismoInLiguria #Italia #Italy #Raw_Italy #BorghItalia #BorghiItaliani #Italian_Trips #TheLigurians #BestLiguriaPics #Liguria_Mania__ #BorghiMagazine #Liguria_More_Than_This #Borghi_Autentici #BorghiRitrovati #Borghi_Villages #VillagesMyPassion #TravelDiaries #TravelDrops #ViaggiareInItalia (at Campo Ligure) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ceoz3wgqf4r/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Canon EOS 250D | 24mm | 1/200s | f/9 | ISO 100 Taken on 21/05/2021. Campo Ligure isn't exactly a tourist hotspot in Liguria. But feast your eyes on the pastel-coloured houses, the mighty medieval bridge and the iconic single-tower castle—you're in for a treat! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Take a Regional train from Genova Brignole. Alternatively, catch a train from Alessandria or Asti and change at Acqui Terme. ______________________________________ #CampoLigure #Liguria #IgersGenova #VolgoGenova #Italia #Italy #BorghiAutentici #UnoDeiBorghiPiùBellidItalia #BorghiPiùBelli #BorghiItaliani #BorghidItalia #ItalianVillages #BestDestinations #TravelItaly #Italy_Illife #Raw_Italy #LaMiaLiguria #TurismoInLiguria #Liguria_Cartoline_ #Liguria_More_Than_This #Liguria_In_Grande #OrgoglioLiguria #VisitLiguria #VisitItaly #SustainableTravel #Wanderlust #Super_Italy #Total_Italy #ClickFor_Borghi #Italian_Places (at Campo Ligure) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWDHFhNowgW/?utm_medium=tumblr

Canon EOS 250D | 18mm | 1/1000s | f/9 | ISO 200 Taken on 06/06/2020. The sixth of June will be firmly fixed in my diary from 2020 onwards — the day when travel restrictions were lifted all over Italy. The moment I crossed from Piedmont to Liguria by train without having to show my self-certification form was an incredible feeling—a memory that will remain in my mind forever. And what better way to make the most of that momentous day than to visit Campo Ligure, a well-kept rural village in the Genovese hinterland still surmounted by its 15th-century majestic castle around which concerts are held over the summer. Prepare to be amazed and bedazzled the beautiful frescoed and decorated buildings that help Campo Ligure make its mark as one of Italy's prettiest villages. The best places to be to see Campo Ligure in all its glory are from the medieval bridge that crosses the River Stura, from the top of the castle, and from the east entrance to the village which is where I took this photo. Due to Campo Ligure's position in the mountains, it almost always attracts a fair amount of cloud that starkly contrasts the row of lego-like houses along the river. Simply splendid. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: Campo Ligure can be reached by train on the Acqui Terme–Genova and Ovada–Genova rail lines. Avoid Campo Ligure in poor weather conditions as the tunnels through which the trains pass are susceptible to heavy downpours. ______________________________________ #Ig_Genova #Campoligure #Italia #Italy #ILikeItaly #Borghi_World #TrenItalia #TheLigurians #LaMiaLiguria #TurismoInLiguria #BestLiguriaPics #BorghiItaliani #BorghiPiuBellidItalia #BorghidItalia #PromozioneDelTerritorio #VolgoGenova #VivoLiguria #Ig_Liguria #TheHub_Liguria #YallersLiguria #TravelGramItalia #LonelyPlanetItalia #Alluring_Villages #Divine_Villages #Kings_Villages #Borghi_World #BorghiViaggioItaliano #Borghi_Cartoline #NatGeoTravel #CondeNastTraveller (at Campo Ligure) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNDPz8UFOuS/?igshid=1c1ecg5bl9dr8
