I didn't really want to give Elden a prosthetic for the same reason and came up with a similar solution. He has one for holding a shield when he wants it, but he doesn't even always use it in battle. I just wanted him to be disabled and still just as capable as he was before. I've seen too many narratives where, as soon as a character is disabled, they're marked down as pretty much useless

Exactly! I don’t want to go for the “useless until arm is back” thing. Maybe at some point he’ll actually have a full functioning new arm, but it’ll be years after Trespasser (plus, Dagna is Dagna but these things take time imho)

I thought about this for so long with Seren and wound up not being able to do it. Not because I don't think a disabled person should have every right to use prosthetics if they want... But Idk... I guess I wanted him to adapt and wind up stronger without it.

Yesss, your idea for the Keeer was great too! I’m thinking actually to have him abandon the whole spear/staff fighting, it saddens me, but I think it wouldn’t be that practical to twirl a spear with only one hand (although I have to check this). Fael will probably rely much more on his spirit blade, and maybe have a runic prosthetis which allows him to cast and focus spells without a staff? The dude always liked melee combat more than ranged anyway. Still it’ll mostly be something for combat alone, and maybe something for big occasions? idk

I've never thought about it that way. Oh well, too late :D I think you should do it if you want to.

oh but I don’t think the people who gave their quizzy a new arm did wrong, on the contrary! I love how it gives the opportunity to play with a lot of ideas. It’s just that for now it’s really weird for me to imagine Fael with a fully functional artificial limb. I don’t know yet. We’ll see 8D

It's slightly different in her dialogue and she tells you that she had no help from the circles in her studies. She does it all on her own. But if she romances Sera, her journal says something different about her if she was helped by the warden vs. Not

(If the Warden helped Dagna) She'll add runes, make flowers and friends. Smoosh! - (If the Warden didn't help Dagna) She can burn all the scary. Seen her do it. Still smooshy.

Piggybacking off the last ask, there were definitely some things at the beginning of their relationship that drove each other crazy. Kaiden didn’t fully understand why Dorian wasn’t open to PDA when they first got together. They’d kissed in the library, but after that... Nothing. Not in public, at least. In private? Absolutely. Dorian was always laying on him. But not being able to show his love for Dorian drove him absolutely crazy. (The other way around, too. Dorian hated how Kaiden was so handsy in public.)

Later, it’s just little things. Dorian hates how messy Kaiden’s desk is. (”How can you find anything?!”) Kaiden dislikes how Dorian drinks so much. No major things that they absolutely can’t stand!
