I’ve seen lots of fanfiction with one or the other (one tends to be more popular) but I am interested to hear what you think would actually be more likely based on their cannon characterizations.

I love how OC X Cannon characters give me a lot of happiness, and then they give me a lot of anger and frustration.

Reasoning?

Because some oc x cannon are cute and adorable and the OC in question is genuinely interesting and well written. Then there are... THOSE OCs that are Mary Sue's or Garry Stue's, are used to bash on other characters who maybe have feelings for the character they are shipping or are already in a relationship with just to treat their OC as if it is superior then characters who are probably more interesting and well written. Also those OCs are actually self-inserts and then they ship themselves with LITERAL MINORS who are probably younger then 16.

Yeah it has a lot of pros and cons to it-
