I thought of something else I haven't talked about DBH yet

I just wanna ramble about Fowler for a minute, I have a lot of thoughts about this guy

His relationship with and status compared to Hank are always really interesting to me, because Hank was the youngest lieutenant ever and everyone thought he was going all the way to commissioner, but then he stopped at lieutenant

I feel like it's because he got married and had Cole, his professional life took a backseat to his family, which is exactly as it should be, so while Hank was raising a kid and comfortable to stay as a lieutenant, Fowler kept getting promoted until he got to captain

Now here's my other thought about Fowler

It says in the gallery that the reason why Fowler is so insistent about assigning Hank the android case is because he believes that this is the case that will wake Hank up and get him invested in police work again. And he's correct!

But the funniest part is, that once Hank is woken up and invested in police work again, he then does NOT want to be removed from the case, and I just find it hilarious that Fowler did not see this coming

Like sir you know what Hank was like before, why are you so surprised that he's fighting you on this now

I feel like in Fowler's head he's thinking "I really did not see this one backfiring on me but somehow it did" lmaooo

He wanted Hank to be himself again but then he was upset when Hank was himself again, what a funny man

My other thoughts about Fowler get into much more controversial/theory territory, so I'll just briefly mention them in the tags for now

I spent waaaay too long on this one but I've been trying out different ways to color my art lately, and wanted to get to a point where I was mostly satisfied again.

This will not be the last of the I Robot x DBH hybrid art, I fear. I've already got another idea in my backlog.

A/N: I struggled with this one the most. Thankfully the idiom "at the drop of a hat" came to my mind. :') And yesss have more angry Connor!

With a purposeful stride across the bullpen, Connor approached Gavin’s desk and threw the detective’s legs off the table, not giving a damn that he almost toppled over from his chair.

“Motherfucker!” Gavin lunged. Connor stopped his fist before it connected.

“You’ve been unresponsive, Detective Reed,” Connor said flatly. “I need your finished report so we can close this case.”

Gavin snarled. “If it weren’t for Fowler, I would destroy you at the drop of a hat.”

“You’re welcome to try if that would make you feel better, Gavin.”

Connor leaned in, voice dangerously low.

“Whatever happens afterwards is self-defense.”

Day 25: Immense Fandom: Detroit: Become Human Characters: Hank Anderson, Connor, Jeffrey Fowler

a/n: happy 7th year anniversary to d:bh!!! unfortunately been too busy to write something longer like i originally wanted to, so this drabble will have to suffice. i hope you enjoy nonetheless :)

“This is an immense opportunity, but it’s also extremely dangerous.”

Fowler looks at them with a little worry.

“Are you sure you’re up for it?”

Connor glances towards Hank, who, on cue, returns the look. They communicate through eye movements alone – asking how they should approach this, how to negotiate, and how they should celebrate when they inevitably catch their guy.

Finally, they exchange confident smiles as they look back to Fowler.

“Jeffrey, we’ve been working together for seven years,” Hank says with a grin.

“We are more than up for it,” completes Connor.

Fowler sighs.

“Of course you are…”

a/n: once again, happy birthday to the game that's irrevocably altered my brain chemistry forever!!! i've liked it for about six years now, i distinctly remember getting into it july of 2019. i basically grew up on it, every other year i had another phase where i'd obsess over it, glad i returned to it this year just in time for the anniversary haha :D

this community is the sweetest, least toxic i've ever been part of - especially as a dechartgames fan. buddy let me TELL YOU how good it is to be a dechartgames fan. everyone else is arguing over hankcon this simarkus that blah blah blah - and everyone over at dechartgames is Zen. doesn't give a Single Shit. massive respect to bryan and amelia for being able to manage such a positive fanbase.

speaking of, there are very high chances i will see them this october at mcm comiccon, so HELLO!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!! just thinking about it makes me wanna jump around my room yoohoo yahoo yayayay yippee!!!!!! i also saw them at 2019's comiccon so it would be insane to compare the pictures of six years ago and now xD i am looking forward to it, hopefully it will happen <3
