Meet your Captain! and their weird pet

CQ and TG are the pair in charge of the ship! CQ is almost always the first person crew members meet, and is always happy to have new members (until it's been 5 months later and their bickering about the same things over and over again lmao)

CQ is very much the supervisor and parent of the ship. They settle debates and fights amongst members frequently.

TG is an opossum that is always found near CQ. Rarely do you see TG on their own. They're always Crew Member of the Month.

You'll often find CQ chattering on to TG, in a disjointed conversation that, while incomprehensible to outsiders, it seems they both understand each other. No one knows if it's just because TG is a weird Opossum- or if CQ is crazy- but they're harmless, so the crew lets them be. (Also, yes, they wear matching outfits lol)

Here, I forgot to post it lol but here is the 1 year anniversary pic I did for Rift Aparts first Birthday. 

I'm gonna be honest. It was a great year, and sometimes a rough year. I first played an incredible game of a franchise which seemed to be made for me lol. I was amazed by the characters and the world and was really into it. This community let me meet so many cool persons and other fans who even interacted with me.

I know the second half of the year was rough for all of us. Toxicity, obsessed fans, crazy stans, shipping wars, simps and…the one who shall not be named…I know it goes tiring to older fans rather than newer ones. Hope we can in future change that to the better.

But this game took me into a journey of more older titles of the series which I all enjoyed and was happy to play it. No other game franchise got me this invested into it than RaC. After one year now it’s amazing how far I got. Let’s hope for another great year, maybe even better than this.

I’ve been thinking about it, and I’m pretty sure I know what the difference was that let Emperor Nefarious take over. It was Qwark. Even if most of Qwark’s battle’s with Nefarious were...embellished, their interactions make it clear that they did happen, and Qwark did win, and it’s been stated multiple times by several people that before Ratchet and Clank got involved he was the only hero who could win. So in another life, where the Solana Galaxy’s “Greatest” Hero became a pirate instead, Nefarious’ early career goes unopposed. Instead of being the result of a miraculous survival, his robot body is likely one he designed himself, without the glitches and health problems and gangly features inherited from his old organic form. His early foothold lets him take out competition like Drek and Percival, and gains their holdings with that, so a certain Warbot-Zoni hybrid doesn’t go defective in time to properly meet their partner.

All because Quantum’s love of adventure and fame led him down a different path that Qwark’s did. Honestly I think the Emperor would have lost his mind even more than he already did if he’d looked past his ego and noticed the difference
