finished my psycholinguistics experiment after getting the last of my ten participants today .. wrote something real quick and sent it off! i’ve had this professor since last summer but i still never know what he WANTS from me so ....I'm not wasting my time unless I need to.
was going to annotate my bilingualism journal article tonight about gender agreement errors in spanish native speakers + heritage/L2 learners but it’s actually a total BREEZE to read through compared to the first one we were given, so i can do that tomorrow before my group discussion rehearsal on Tuesday morning!
beowulf is still on the agenda to read tonight, but that’ll be after i get started on Unhinged, which is Omarosa’s ‘tell-all’ book about working in the Trump White House. Not gonna lie, I have my popcorn ready, even if I’m not sure what to believe about it all (for a black woman she looks foolish as heck even working w/this man lol...)
[10/07/19] Conjunctivitis
day 16/100 of self discipline: yesterday I really felt so dead...this is the only thing I ate in the 11 hours I was on campus. >< Some days I do good, other days I do bad, but I took a bunch of cute selfies sitting under that umbrella so.....it kinda balanced out. // anyway! first day of fall !! the season in which I graduate lolololol
[ ] thing to eat or drink every day [changing this to swishing w peppermint or hyper…something my mother said] [ ] bedtime goal [before 11 pm .. no I had stories to trade with my friend in Canada] [X] wake up goal [no phone before breakfast…I didn’t have breakfast so…] [X] self-care goal [LCO hair routine – yep! got a new hairstyle for the next day--today!] [X] school goal [I can’t remember but I know I worked hard!]
