Once upon a time when I was a young primary child, I remember a song; "Open the gates to the temple." This summer 2010 pic' of the #Cardston #Alberta 🇨🇦 #LDStemple depicts these lyrics learned so long ago very well. Located just 15 miles (25km) north of the U.S. border with Montana, the #CardstonTemple was the first #MormonTemple built outside of the 🇺🇸. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 (at Cardston Alberta Temple)

This is the first painting I've done that is 100% for me. It's not a gift for anyone else, it's not for sale, it's for me. And actually it's a perfect representation of who I am. Everyone knows that Snow White is my alter ego, so that part is obvious. But she is (I am) headed towards the place that I've dreamed of going since I was old enough to remember. Plus it has the closing quote of my all time favourite talk by President Uchtdorf. This is me in a painting. 3 1/2 hours well spent.
