I think that argument was less about representation that should’ve been there because the actors are jewish or queer or the writers actually coded them in a way. It was fandom taking characters that are space n*zis and saying they’re jewish, queer, mentally ill whatever coded even though it goes against their characterisation and is demeaning to the people they claim they’re coded to

That’s why I made a new post, but somebody in the tags was saying that the term coding can only apply to queerness, which is what my post is responding to.
