These are the results of my little foray into CAS lighting... You don't wanna know how many hours I spent staring at a loading screen to test these fuckers lmao.. but! It's pretty fun, I'll probably make more at some point.

CAS Lighting - City Light 🌃 , Neutral Light 🏠 & Torch Light Variants 👻

With Halloween around the corner I wanted to try & create an eerie kind of CAS Lighting. 

Made a set of 4 new CAS Lighting mods: 

CAS Lighting “CITYLIGHT” (angled light with a red & blue glow)

CAS Lighting “CITYLIGHT - TORCHLIGHT” (torchlike effect)

CAS Lighting “NEUTRAL LIGHT” (angled neutral light)

CAS Lighting - Spotlight & Daylight variants

Sharing 3 more variants for the CAS Lighting.

"Spotlight” is similar to my CAS lighting “Golden Light”, but smoother and with a more subtle glow. The “Daylight” variants are basically my “Torchlight” turned around in a way that it appears like the light is coming from the sun.

EXCUSE ME?! Did Misha just confirm intention around season 10?

@doctorprofessorsong just sent me this video from @waywardassbutt (x), and I legit gasped. Misha acknowledging he fought for the Cas confession is always something so personal, yes, but also he kinda confirms an intention from the show around five years prior. Five. Years. Prior.

"Five years prior would’ve said, "There is no fucking way they will let us do that." Who is the they in that sentence? [We know who]

And if I may try on this very fashionable chrome colored accessory, five years ago would land us in 2016, the year of the market research.

I've been thinking for some time now, becoming convinced that the caslighting involved keeping a front for the network. Bewitched could never admit to being a gay allegory, Xena couldn't, not while staying on the air.

Extra gif for that warm smile at the end, devilish look in the eye. I'm seeing so many of these today, lovely people paying top dollar to be able to tell Misha just how much the scene he fought for, the character portrayal, meant to them and the good he's put out into the world. That's beautiful. 🌈 So many people came out, whether to the community or to themselves, after Cas got his moment on television. They erased him but they couldn't erase the effect that he had. When someone says they just 'don't see it' or 'for them' they see Dean as straight, the instinct is to go back and forth with gifs or videos of Dean getting nervous around Dr. Sexy or Lawless, to send clips of Castiel's I love yous or Dean in Mourning and just...

That's not really "it"? because "IT™" is something I can't show in a gif. "IT™" is not a single instance of Dean getting flustered or watching a man's ass as he walks away.

There's just too much.

There is too much queercoding, Too many pieces of set dec, Too much femme coding, Too many instances of hayes era film references, There are too many under-the-radar deep dive references to queer culture, There are too many 'mistaken for gay' jokes, There are too many 'not my type' 'I don't swing that way' gut reactions, There are too many story parallels to canon couples, There are too many 'interesting' scene transitions, There are too many bizarre episode recaps, There is Just. Too. Much.™ for it to have all been unintentional.

The character was based on queer people, both real and fictional.

Kripke might not have intentionally written Dean Winchester to be bisexual, but he is, & the writers who came after him clearly did.
