The translation errors were caused by my CAT tool outputting things in the wrong places and they were not caught by me when I glanced over it for formatting, so I am embarrassed that I turned in something like that to the client, but also relieved that I didn't translate something totally wrong in the content. I made the mistake of doing a lot of revision of the content and then assuming it would be formatted correctly because until now my CAT tool has not done me wrong. Never again but at least now I am not obsessing over my ability as a translator and instead I'm kicking myself and will try to be more careful in the future. ((I also hate to say it but if I would have lost this client over it, it might have been a blessing because I am sick of dealing with them never considering my time zone and giving me last minute deadlines in general. And they pay me very little. But I'm trying to get experience and any money I can, so I'll deal with them to an extent)) I ran two miles today and my shin splints feel slightly better. I believe my dog gave me them in the first place by pulling so hard on me and making me walk funny to try to control him (I wear a waist leash and if I didn't I am positive he'd have run several states over by now). Running makes him stick with me a *little* better.
