Bunnyzai AU:

Osamu is based on a Flemish Giant Rabbit. Adults of this breed can grow up to 2.5-4ft in length (fully stretched out of course) and weigh about 15-20 pounds (7-10kg).

In the timeline I usually show, which is 16!Chuu, he's still young and barely measures 2ft in length — yes, he's gonna get bigger. Because he's such a large breed, and a lazy one at that, Chuuya's constantly worried about him not getting enough exercise.

Chuuya's most successful ways to have Osamu move is by taking him to the yard where he tries to get him to hop around or play by calling out to him, or tempt him with treats so he'll chase after them before he actually earns them.

Osamu is a freely moving bunny, he doesn't have a cage or anything since he's non-destructive and there's no reason for him to stay locked up. The only time when Chuuya puts him in a temporary cage is when they clean the floors, since he doesn't want Osamu to get in touch with the chemicals. He's also not allowed in the bathroom for a similar reason.

Fun fact: when Osamu wants attention he'll either hop on Chuuya's lap, or (when first option unavailable) roll around in front of him.

In mixed AU¹:

Here bunnyzai gets more exercise due to Dazai bringing Chibi² over to Chuuya's house sometimes, so he persuades Mackerel³ into playing with him a bit — read: Chibi pokes him or chews on his ears and Mackerel hops away, and repeat. Sometimes they nap together in a sunny spot.

Both Dazai and Chuuya have multiple pictures and videos of them, obviously.

Cat!Dazai and cat!Chuuya wrapping their tails together when they're lazing around or sleeping next to each other.

Dazai's the one who purrs in his sleep and Chuuya's heard it before. The first time he couldn't believe his ears, the second time it was funny because Dazai was passed out and in such a deep sleep. The third time and all the ones after that, it's just plain adorable and in turn helps him fall asleep.

Chuuya doesn't mention how Dazai purrs in his sleep because if he does, Dazai might stop.
