nearly at 1k exciting things

It’s improving. We cried together last night, snuggled up and vowed to not let things get in the way of our friendship. Those things which are moving fast so surprisingly, but are inevitable. I hadn’t really let out my feelings all month long, so perhaps it took hormones and alcohol and a shock to the system in order to release. It was cathartic, and I don’t think it will be a regular occurrence. I don’t want to get back together, but I want us to still be a team. I want us to be best friends. There are few people in the world who understand me the way she does, and breaking up has actually brought us even closer in a strange way, divided though it has felt at times. I wanted to feel feelings, and boy have I. After my vacation next week, I foresee that I will be cleansed, and fully ready to move on to the better things that I was lacking before. I wasn’t unhappy, I was content. But it wasn’t satisfying to the parts of my soul that need passion … and there are many such parts.
