Excitedly you entered your shared home with a large new plush in your arms. It was nearly as big as you, and soft as could be as well. Volt was close behind, closing and locking the door once you made your way inside.
Eddie rounded the corner at the sound of the door. He could barely see you from behind the head of the plush, but he could feel your smile from where he stood. With a long glance at the size of the plush and quick math on where it could possibly fit, he looked at Volt with exasperation.
“They thought it was pretty.” Volt stated simply, hand coming to rest on your lower back.
“Pretty big, yeah.” Eddie sighed.
“Bad?” You mumbled, peeking your head out from over the plush to see Eddie’s face.
Eddie softened instantly at the sight of your beautiful eyes. “No baby, not bad. And you’re right, your new friend is pretty. Why don’t you go find a spot for it in our room?”
Your face brightened, quickly attempting to run past Eddie to your room.
“Hey,” Eddie called after you, causing you to turn. “No kiss?”
With warmth in your cheeks you bridged the gap between the two of you. He leaned in, placing a sweet kiss on your forehead and then your nose, smiling when he pecked your lips. Satisfied, he nodded to your room and you took off again.
Once you were far enough away, Eddie turned to look at Volt. “You’re spoiling them.”
Volt shook his head, fond smile on his face. “Do you have any idea how hard it is to say no to them?”
“Yes, I do.” Eddie’s eyes narrowed. “But did they even ask this time, or did you just see them looking at it again?”
Volt’s eyes flickered between the direction you went off in and then back to Eddie, and only spoke after a pause. “I should help them find room for their.. New friend.”
Eddie rolled his eyes as Volt passed him, though there was no real annoyance in it.
“You got everything you need here right? Gotcha bottle, ya’ snacks and your bear? Right awesome. Daddy set your pajamas just over there, I know you like my Metallica shirt so figured you could wear it as a night dress y’know?” Eddie smiles softly, pointing in the direction of sofa. His fingers covered in his usual rings, you take his hand. Fiddling with your favourite ring on his pointer finger, the skull one. Giggling as you twist it around his skin. “You like that huh? It’s like babies with keys, just it’s my baby with my fingers.” He chuckles as he wiggles his fingers, booping your nose and pretending to flick your forehead. You giggle, covering your face with your hands to protect yourself. “Daddy!” You push him back first onto the bed, straddling Eddie’s waist. Settling into your new seat on his jeans-clad crotch nicely.
Eddie leans up towards you, wrapping his arms around you. Your face smushes into his chest and you inhale the faint scent of his cologne and whatever he’d been smoking before he came over to baby-sit you. He squeezes you tighter, “Little girl if you wanted a hug you should have just said so.” He laughs, continuing to hold you tighter, falling down onto the bed and rolling around with you in his arms, the pair of you in a fit of giggles. You try to push away and wriggle out of his grip but he’s got a hold of you. “Ohhhh you think you can escape me huh? You really think you’re that tough? You’re just a little girl! Just a small little creature.” You laugh and pretend to bite at him, showing him your teeth. “A creature that is very bitey by the looks of it.” Eddie laughs, pushing you back by your forehead onto the bed as you smirk and try to bite up at his wrist.
“Such a vicious monster!” He says dramatically with his hand over his brow as if he’s playing a part in a Shakespearean play where he’s a damsel in distress. “How-ever can I defeat such a beast?” He chuckles to himself, manhandling you once more as if you were a piece of clay for him to manipulate any which way. Jumping off the bed and reaching for the Metallica shirt he set aside for you, he places it over your head to blind you.
“Little girl can’t even get dressed properly without her daddy huh? Silly girl has left herself all vulnerable to the tickle monster!!” He laughs, setting himself beside you and poking your stomach whilst your vision is covered. “It tickles daddy!” You squeal and pull the shirt down and quickly as you can whilst simultaneously protecting your sensitive areas. “Oh it does? I wouldn’t expect that! You’re telling me this tickles? This? What I doing right here? Naaaahhh you’re crazy!” Eddie chuckles to himself as he picks up the speed in which he’s moving, using all five fingers on both hands to rapidly tickle your sides as he babies you. He only stops tickling you when he sees you gasp for air, sure he’s a tease and a self confessed “tickle monster” but he’s not evil.
He pulls you closer to him as you rest your head on his chest, still catching your breath from the play fight. Eddie ruffles your hair and rubs your back with his spare hand. Yawning and closing your eyes, you nuzzle into him. The feeling of his soft shirt against your nose only brings you closer to falling asleep.
“Hey hey hey!” He shakes your shoulders as he wakes you. “Princess I forgot, I got this.” He holds up a pacifier, it’s black and decorated with red beads that spell out ‘lil’rockstar’ along the handle, in the middle is a sticker of a bat. The bat seems to be wearing a similar pacifier himself. “I bought this a few weeks back, you don’t have to use it if you don’t wanna. I just- I was researching this whole little space thing you got going on. A lot of the littles, they have these. Plus- I figured it could stop you chewing on your nails and the skin around them.” Eddie picks up your hand, inspecting your fingers. “Whatcha say? Wanna give it a try?” Your face immediately flushes, you’d never really given pacifiers a seconds thought, but the effort he went to and the whole thing with your fingernails, maybe he was right.
You nod shyly, accepting his little gift. Placing it in your mouth, you smile and your lips morph to the shape of the pacifier. Eddie smiles back at you, only brighter. Moving the hair from your face and stroking your cheek.

Gareth being a little mean, Eddie babying Bonnie. VERY LONG (2.9 k)
Eddie woke in the morning, he no longer felt the comforting weight of Bonnie on his chest, so he rolled over and stretched his arm out looking for her, groaning when he didn't feel her.
"Mmmmm, Bon...?" After no answer, he sat up looking around and squinting, "Bon?" He sits up getting out of the bed, beginning to search the trailer, the clothes he'd given her were still in his bed, and hers were missing, had she left? He couldn't help feel a little let down, but despite that, he got dressed and left for the day.
"No way you spent the night with a girl, we're losers Ed." Jeff snorted and looked among the group to see their reactions.
"No no its true, he called me about it last night, soooo, you and stalker girl?" Gareth grins and nudges Eddie in the side. His jaw clenched in annoyance.
"It's not like that, she's not a stalker she-" He cut himself off, the truth would sound insane, he wasn't even sure it was true, and if it was, he probably shouldn't be telling the town about it. "She's not a stalker. Anyway nothing happened, she had a nightmare or something, asked me to sleep next to her, and when I woke up she was gone."
"She take anything?" Jeff asks, they'd never seen Eddie like this, so they got the hint to take it easy on the jokes. He shakes his head.
"Stash untouched, money all there, tv, guitar, nothings missing. She said she wasn't from Hawkins, I don't have her number." There was an uncomfortable silence as Eddie pushed around the food on his tray with his fork. "I don't think I'll ever see her again..."
Bonnie woke up to the sound of yelling and things being thrown around the house, a familiar noise, but unsettling none the less, she whines softly.
"Eddie? What's happening?" Her eyes opened and she saw she was back in her own room. "Oh... it was a dream." She slowly sat up before seeing her legs, cut and bruised and grazed, pretty freshly too. A finger pressed around the wounds experimentally causing her to hiss, it wasn't a dream?
"Bonnie! Get your ass downstairs!" She jumps up and pulls on a hoodie to cover the hellfire shirt, going downstairs as instructed.
"Heard you up last night, no wonder you've slept half the day. And who were you talking to just now?"
"It's only mid day papa, and no one, just... myself." A strong grip tightened around her wrist.
"Then what happened to your legs hm? You been sneaking out?"
"I'm an adult-"
"-You're my daughter! You listen to me! Go get my tools!"
"But-"
"Get!" He shoves her toward the door, causing her to trip and smack into the wall. Bonnie was immediately crying but ran to get the tools, it would only upset him more to see her cry, or that she'd split her lip, as well as bumping above her eye, which would no doubt bruise, and her nose started bleeding. She wiped her face as best as she could with her sleeve as she collected her dads bag, dragging it back to him and keeping her head down.
Bonnie watched from her bed as her dad boarded shut her window, and then added a lock to the outside of her door.
"What if I have to pee? What if there's a fire?"
"You can hold it. And god forbid the house set on fire, you'd better hope I remember to let you out." Without another word, the door was shut and locked, locking Bonnie in the room with no way out. After a while of crying and panicking from being trapped, she grabbed her phone and began typing searching up to see if anyone had similar experiences to her from last night, and after having to continuously filter results and change her search she found it, she found what she was looking for. A blog talking about their shifting experience, and the more she read through it, the more it sounded like that's exactly what she did, just, without meaning to. Her next search, how to do it again.
It wasn't long before she was lying in bed, trying all sorts of different methods, she hadn't scripted, she wanted the pure, authentic Eddie she met last night. Bonnie steadied her breathing, focusing on the memory of Eddie. A soft smile spread on her face and she felt herself drifting.
Bonnie jolted awake, looking around and sighing in relief to see Eddies room surrounding her, she laid back in his sheets comfortably, at home she had a mattress and two pillows so she was grateful for the warm, cosy bedding, it was just an added bonus that they smelt like Eddie. Speaking of, she got up and headed for the door.
"Eddie?" She opened the door to see an older, balding man drinking coffee, she recognised him as uncle Wayne, but still shrieked in surprise and slammed the door shut.
Eddie got home, taking off his jacket and hanging it up before leaning back to crack his back, he went to go make a snack when a voice behind him spoke.
"Who's the girl?" Uncle Wayne, Eddie looked at him and saw a smirk, "In your room?" He elaborated, "Don't worry, not mad, just, use protection and keep the noise down-"
"When did she get here?"
"Well, I got in before you left, so I assumed she stayed the night, certainly didn't get here since I've been home." Eddie didn't wait a second longer, rushing to his room and opening the door.
"Bon!" He grins before fidgeting and clearing his throat, "I mean, you're back! Where'd you go?" He crossed his arms awkwardly trying not to seem so excited. Bonnie was curled up in the corner, hugging her knees to her chest. "My uncle scare yo-" he was cut off to her hugging him tight, her face hidden in his chest, he hoped she wouldn't hear the way his heart skipped a beat. "Hey? You okay...?"
"When I fell asleep, I woke up at home again..." She was trembling slightly. Eddie grew worried and gently lifted her face, his expression dropping seeing her black eye and busted lip. He strokes her hair back with a worried expression, hands slightly shaking with hidden rage, the cold metal of his rings gently brushing her cheeks.
"Who did this to you?" She shook her head.
"It doesn't matter you can't fi-"
"Bon, Who. Did. This?"
"My dad." His jaw tensed, she was right, he couldn't do anything, it broke his heart, but when he saw her eyes welled with tears, it washed away, replaced with worry, being mad wouldn't help anything, he wanted to help her instead.
"You'll stay here, with me, I'll keep you safe, here." Eddie knelt in front of her and looked away as he pulled down her shorts, replacing them with his sweatpants.
"What are you doing?" BB asks, watching him nervously, chewing on the ends of her sleeve as she felt herself beginning to slip.
"I'm gonna take care of you. That okay?" She blushed wildly and nods making him smile wide. "Good girl." Eddie had an urge for a while, to have someone in his life that needed him, to care for them, to... baby them. He never understood the compulsion. "Come on baby bat, up you come." Eddie picked up her up, wrapping her legs around his waist, making her hug onto his neck in panic, fearing she'd be dropped. "It's okay, I got you."
Eddie sat her on the side of the bathtub, gently cleaning off her face of the dried blood.
"Tell me if I'm hurting you, okay?" Bon once again nods softly, still chewing and sucking on her sleeve. "Good girl, hey hey no baby... icky. Look your sleeves are all wet now..." He opened a draw and pulled out a numbing cream, gently applying it to her injuries.
"Sowwy..." He paused at the way she spoke, but smiles.
"It's okay, how about we go to the store and you can pick out anything you want okay? So, something you can chew on too?" Eddie smiles wide and kisses her forehead gently. "First, how about we brush this hair?"
"Okay..." She smiles wide and reaches up to be picked up again.
"Laces all tied?" Eddie had found an old pair of his from being younger, they had all sorts of drawings on them.
"Yep! All tied!" Bon's legs swing back and forth from the van seat.
"Okay, so hold my hand, don't wonder off, and while I adore that little voice of yours, I think it's best you don't talk to anyone, okay?" He was worried about the people in this town being their usual selves and making her feel bad, and also worried people would question who she even was, the people here were paranoid especially after the last few years. She nods firmly, waiting as he came to her side of the van, unbuckled her and lifted her out of the van. Her hand clasps around his, automatically pressing herself to his side as they walked into the little store. They walked to the clothing isle, "So you have stuff to wear at mine?" He chuckles, making her chew her lip shyly, she kinda liked wearing his clothes, "Do you wanna pick or can I?" The regressor in her craved being cared for completely, even being dressed.
"You pick." BB spoke quietly so she wouldn't be heard.
"Okay... why don't you look around and pick some things, and meet me right over there okay?" He pointed to an Icee machine, giving her hand a squeeze and then a little kiss before watching her walk away.
Bonnie waddled nervously down each isle, stopping when she came to the baby section, she wanted badly to get some things, she didn't have much at home, but she didn't know if Eddie would want to buy these for her, on the other hand, maybe she could lie about why she wanted to it, nervously picking up a sippy cup, bottle, and a set of plate, bowl and cutlery with teddy bears printed on it. She nervously held the items to her chest and continued looking through them, after a lot of thought, she chose to stay with what she had, not wanting to push Eddie. She made her way towards the Icee machine, eyes widening to see a familiar face sat on the counter drinking one.
"Gareth?" His face turns to her and he frowns.
"I know you?" His tongue was a bright purple colour from the drink, her face grew a somewhat scared expression.
"O-oh... No no sorry I thought you were someone else..." He looked over her confused before noticing the shoes, Eddies.
"Stalker girl? Holy shit it's stalker girl!" He chuckles to himself and gets off of the counter, getting close to her, "Eddie told us all about you, so, how do you know all this stuff about us?"
On the other side of the store, Eddie was busy filling a basket with all sorts of stuff, the urge to spoil becoming too hard to conquer, he also slipped a few things into his pockets, but his head snapped up hearing the familiar voice of his club member, Gareth, yelling "Stalker girl." His heart dropped, he loved his friends, but he knew what they were like, just like how he was usually. He rushed towards the noise, seeing Gareth and Bonnie.
"Gareth back off." Eddie tapped BB's hand with his finger, letting her know he was there if she needed, trying to hold back a smile when he felt her hand wrap around two of his fingers. Gareth's hands lifted defensively.
"Just asking her questions, looking out for my guy. So," He looks down at their hands "You two are...?" Eddie gave a stern look and Gareth decided to drop it. "Well... uh, have fun, see ya Monday I guess..." With that he walked away and Eddie knelt in front of BB stroking her hair,
"You okay? I'm sorry about him..." She nods and reaches forward hugging around his neck tight and hiding her face in the comforting nest that was his hair. "Oh... "He hugged back "Hey its okay, just gotta pay and we can go back to mine okay? Just me an' you alright? Can you do that f'me?" He pulled back doing his best to look down at her despite their close proximity, pouting a little "Please?" Bonnie takes a deep breath and nods softly, letting go of Eddie before pointing at the cart he was trying to hide.
"Wha's dat?" Eddie made a mental note to ask about how she was talking later on, but for now he guided her attention back to him.
"Those are surprises when we get back home okay?" She looked away from them and nods softly, smiling a little, "I'm gonna need you to gimme what you've chosen, and then look away so the surprise isn't ruined, 'kay?" Once he was handed her items, he smiled wide at what she'd chosen, a little baby bottle? He couldn't help picturing himself holding her on his lap and feeding her with the bottle, but quickly shook the idea from his head and frowned at himself for thinking that way, he paid for the items, well the ones that weren't hidden in his pockets, hid everything away in the bag, and turned back to Bonnie. "Time for home."
Once the pair got back, Eddie led Bonnie to his room, guiding her to sit down and taking the shoes off for her.
"First, for my girl," The words caught her attention, his girl, " The plates and bottle you picked out..." She snatched them up trying to hide them shyly making him chuckle and grab her hand "No need for that, I already saw them anyway sweetheart." He tucked some of her hair out of the way just admiring her face for a moment before digging through the bag, the first item he pulled out was a soft teddy bear making her gasp and go to grab it, but hesitating and looking at him for approval. "Go on, its yours." He could see the fear in her face, the long term affects of her abuse. "Good girl..." He praises gently when she takes it. The next items from the bag consisted of a few other stuffed animals, leaving her in a pile of them, followed by many different cute clothes half were bright baby pastels, and the other were black and grey "In case you wanted to look like yours truly." He'd explained, there were shirts with cute decals printed on them, like little flowers or bees, one had stars and clouds. he then pulled out a dress, it was a skater dress with a pink floral design. And last but not least, he pulled out a few more items, a 2 pack of pacifiers, "I'd be careful with these they might hurt your teeth." She blushed brightly at the sight of them, he also pulled out a little rattle toy, a teether toy, a bottle of his own as well as a bunch of food and candy and applesauce. Something about her too him, he didn't know what it was, he wanted to baby her, and he had a feeling she'd want that.
"Let's get you into your own clothes now, m'kay?" She nods softly "Want my help?" she nods again, allowing him to carefully remove his clothing from her, replacing it with an oversized blue carebears shirt, and some soft shorts, though the shirt was was large enough to cover them completely anyway. "Now, your hair, can I tie it up for you sweetie? Wanna see that pretty face of yours." Bonnie was busy staring down at her clothing, she felt adorable in the oversized, lightly coloured clothing and eddies mismatched comfy socks, her long hair covering her face before she squealed and hugged him tightly catching him off guard and nearly making him topple over, "Awww I'm glad you like it honey, now." He put a few pillows on the floor and sat on his bed, "sit, back t'me princess." She did as he said and sat between his legs, shyly playing with his pant legs and hugging one of her new stuffed animals close. Eddie had braided his own hair before, but this was someone else and much longer, he'd give it his best go.
Once her hair was done, he grins at her, "There's the gorgeous princess, now, sit tight, I need to go speak with my uncle." He takes the plate from the set and the sippy cup before leaving BB alone in his room, finding Wayne watching TV.
"There he is, my favourite uncle, anything I can get you? A beer, a sandwi-"
"What do you want? Is it about the girl?"
"What? Pfft, no! Such accusations, I'm deeply offended."
"So what is it?"
"... Okay yeah it's about BB, can she stay here?" He put his hands in the 'please' position.
"Eddie-"
"Did you not see her face? She doesn't have somewhere safe to go. Please Wayne." That hit his soft spot, Wayne glared at the boy who occupied his trailer for a similar reason, remembering a young teen Eddie sniffling up at him, black eye and a trash bag full of his stuff.
"Fine... Just, remember what I said earlier." His face went red, head rolling back as he groaned.
"Jesus Wayne! It's not like that."
Eddie shook the embarrassment off, breathing a sigh before going back to his room, watching her for a moment in silence.
"Hey Bon?"
To Be Continued, Part 3
Summary: No matter what Eddie tries, Buck does NOT want to go to bed.
***
Eddie didn't know what to do with himself. Today was one of those days that him and Buck worked opposite shifts. Now his entire routine was thrown off and he had a rare day off alone while Buck was at work. And he didn't even have Chris to hang out with because Chris was at a pool party with Denny. So he decided to do laundry... like a dad.
He just finished folding the last piece of laundry when Buck came in like a tornado. And you could tell he was pissed off. Eddie quickly checked his phone while Buck took off his shoes and stormed into the bedroom and was surprised to not find a 'heads up' text from anyone about Buck's bad mood.
Eddie decided to hang around in the kitchen for a minute to give Buck a minute to cool off before going to investigate.
Eddie poked his head into the bedroom, "Honeybee, you wanna talk about it?" He asked the rather large lump in his comforters. "Nooooo" came the muffled reply from beneath the blanket cave. Eddie sighed. "Is there something you're not telling me baby? Are you feeling little?" Buck lifted his head from under the blankets and gave the cutest death glare on the planet. "Not even a little bit? Because I think you are. And I sure miss taking care of you..." Glare still firm on his face, Buck let his head fall to the pillow. But at least he didn't crawl back under the pillow. Eddie took that as an invitation to come closer. He sat on the floor at Buck's bedside, not wanting to get too close in case Buck was too overstimulated and feeling jumpy.
"You know what I think? I think you're embarrassed like last time. And we've talked about this remember? Daddy will never think you are a burden and I will always be okay with taking care of you whenever you want to go down... oooh man, look at that little pout." Eddie smiled gently, not even trying to resist from reaching forward and poking Buck's pouty bottom lip. "How about this carino... how about we just cuddle for a bit? We don't need to talk about it if you don't want to. But you can always talk to daddy okay? When you're ready. That'll never ever change."
Eddie knew that sometimes Buck's bad moods would end with him throwing a tantrum and plummeting into headspace. Sometimes he just needed to take it slow. Sometimes it was both. Eddie had the feeling once Buck felt his caregivers embrace, he'd let the dams break.
"C'mere you... cmon I got you..." Eddie sat on the bed and opened his arms. Buck sat up and squinted at his partner. Eddie couldn't help but smile at the bed head that Buck seemed to get in the twenty minutes he had been laying down.
Hmmmm, daddy's sweater and arms look so cozy. Buck thought as he finally crawled forward and snuggled into Eddie's hold. "There we go... Shhhh, we don't gotta talk about about it, just relax..." Eddie whispered as he rocked Buck in his lap.
It took a while but eventually as Eddie rocked, he could feel his shirt getting wet and Buck shaking. He was right, all Buck needed was a good cry. "Shhhhhh baby bear. It's all okay.. you had such a bad day... daddy's got you now okay? We can spend all night together okay? Everything's okay. You ready to get into jammies?" Buck nodded against his daddy's shoulder but made no move to get up. "You don't wanna walk? Okay I got you baby..." Eddie grunted as he picked up the little and set him on his hip, bringing him to their spare bedroom which quickly turned into their nursery for Buck.
"Which ones do you want bub? Lemme guess... firetrucks?" He asked, pointing at Buck's favorite red firetruck pajamas in the nursery closet. Buck nodded, rubbing his still wet eyes. "How'd I know? Hm?" Eddie asked, bouncing Buck a bit and tickling Buck's torso which earned him a small giggle.
After getting Buck a PB and J and Eddie reminded him about his activity table full of trains, it seemed like Buck was ready to turn his day around and forget all the tears and was cheering up. Until bedtime. No matter what Eddie did, Buck refused to go night night.
"Five more minutes!" Buck yelped, splaying his entire long body on the whole couch, his leg up in the air like an gymnast.
"Honey, I gave you five more minutes three times. It's bedtime baby. I'm sorry." Eddie sighed.
"Nnnnyooooooooooooo!" Buck toddler screeched, still persisting.
Eddie pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. He didn't know what to do anymore. Last ditch effort for his little boy... bribery. If that didn't work, he didn't know what would.
"How about this... you get up and go lay down in bed and when daddy brings you your baba, I'll also bring you one of Tia Pepa's cookies that she brought us."
He may have got him... Eddie could see the cogs turning in his partners head as he tried to decide if this was a trap or if he should accept the cookie in exchange for going to bed. "Hmmmm.. no thank you daddy." Buck said with a little shake of his head.
Goddamn it.
"Alright.. that's it." Eddie said before he gently tossed Buck's big body over his shoulder as Buck wailed his many sleepy objections right in his ear. Buck may be huge and broad but Eddie had much experience as his caregiver carrying the big guy around. Eddie made him feel like he was as light as a feather. Carrying him and tossing him around gently and playfully was a cool tool Eddie could use to make Buck feel as physically small as his headspace made him feel and it also worked for when he was being defiant like this and Eddie just needed to his little boy to listen.
"No daddy, no! Let me down! I can walk! Please!"
"Nope, you lost that chance ten minutes ago baby. Now daddy's carrying you. And we are going to bed."
"Daddy! I-I need... I need..." Buck tried desperately to think of something he needed daddy to get for him. But Eddie knew from the way he was stressed and stuttering to finish his sentence, he could see he didn't really need anything, he just didn't want to go to bed.
"Nope, not gonna work baby, daddy's got you, you're not going anywhere."
Buck went limp like a sack of potatoes over his shoulder as Eddie finally deposited him in their shared bed. He securely tucked his boy in and made sure he was warm and cozy. "You wanna talk about why you don't want to go to sleep baby?" Eddie asked as he rubbed the sleepy boys chest. Buck just crossed his arms and shrank back into Eddie's hoodie. Eddie raised his eyebrow, "Because I know you're tired. I can see it in your eyes. Are you scared? Does your belly hurt?" Buck shakes his head to both questions.
"Then what is it, mi corazon?" Eddie asked, rubbing his thumb over Buck's forehead in attempt to get his eyelids to get heavy and sleepy.
"I.. I just want daddy." Buck pouted.
"But... carino, daddy's right here.." Eddie tapped his chest and took Buck's little hand and poked Eddie in the chest himself, trying to get him to laugh. No such luck. His baby looked close to tears and it broke Eddie's heart.
"But... daddy's gonna leave me here alone..." Buck said, avoiding Eddie's gaze. Eddie quirked his eyebrow. "What do you mean baby?" "When I go night night, daddy's gonna get up and leave the room."
"Y'know what.... daddy is pretty tired too... how about we both just call it a night? How about we both just cuddle and go night night? Would that be okay? Then would you be able to sleep?" Buck nodded at that. "Okay then, thank you. You stay here and I'll go get your baba okay?" Buck nodded again as Eddie squeezed Buck's covered toes affectionately and stood. "Good boy. I'll be right back."

I've been watching 911 FOREVER and FINALLY got the courage to branch off into this fandom after enjoying reading littlesapace Buddie FICS for a while
thank you @actualalligator @megalony and @pimento-playing-hopscotch for inspiring me so much to finally write some Buddie fic! <333
I know this isn't my usual Elvis stuff but I still hope you enjoyed reading!
Summary: Dropping hints and trying to read between the lines.
A/N: Do I have a queue of requests I should be working on? YES. Did the dopamine tell me to write an agere fic for Eddie Munson? Also YES. So I lived by my motto: follow the dopamine.
Sorry for the long delay, I’ve been going to the doctors for a month now to deal with chronic joint pains! I am still trying to go through requests, just really needed to write this story.
TW: Mentions of drugs, Mentions of alcohol, Friendly teasing, Big-headspace, Anxiety, Stress, Lying, and Negative talk. Also, Age Regression, don’t like, don’t read.
Words: 2969
Eddie Munson was sat at the ‘Freak’ Table, a rather sad sandwich in front of him. Gareth was the only one at the table with him at the moment, (Y/N), Jeff, and the freshman were caught up doing only god knows what. Eddie was huffing and sighing, obviously deep in thought about something that was bothering him.
“Hey man, are you okay?” Gareth asked mouth half full with mac and cheese.
“I- Yeah, It’s just that-” Eddie wasn’t sure how to tell his friend what he was thinking, “Well- Remember how I told you I wanted to take care of someone?”
“Oh! Yeah!” Gareth stopped, quickly shifting to a whisper, “Where you want to take care of an age repressor.”
“An age regressor…” Eddie corrected. In all honesty, Gareth wasn’t meant to know, however, Eddie got a little too drunk and high one hangout. “And you know how I’ve been seeing (Y/N) for about a month right?”
“Yeah, we all do,” Gareth said sarcastically.
“Well, I’ve been trying to drop hints and see if maybe she’s an age regressor.” Eddie sounded so frustrated.
“Have you found anything that indicates she might be a- that?” Gareth asked, head tilted and tray pushed away from him slightly. Eddie had his undivided attention.
“Well- nothing yet really… They have stuffies on their bed… But that isn’t proof! They are super clingy when they are tired, but that isn’t anything either. I just need to find proof, like a paci or sippy or blanky…” Eddie grunted unhappily.
“So you have to snoop around their room.” The sentence was a mix of a question and statement, “OR you need to get them to regress in front of you accidentally.”
“Or that…” Eddie quieted, this time he was thinking. ‘How do I get proof of their regression?’
His thoughts were short-lived, as the table was soon swarmed by Dustin, Lucas, Jeff, Mike, and (Y/N). Jeff was carrying their trays. (Y/N) most likely almost spilled it on him earlier. They sat right next to Eddie.
“Hi, Eddie!” (Y/N) still sounded shy and like a school kid with a crush while talking to their boyfriend.
“Hey! How is my baby today?” Eddie didn’t mean to talk to them like they were little but he couldn’t help it. The way their eyes began to sparkle when he babied them and was overly affectionate, made him start to do it unconsciously.
“I’m good!” They shouted out before they realized how loud they were and whispered an apology. (Y/N) began to pull on Eddie’s sleeve to get him to lean close to listen to their murmurs, “Can you come over tonight? I’m gonna be all alone, and I don’t want to have to sleep all alone. I was left money for pizza and movies! I also have enough for snacks! Please Eds please!”
Eddie didn’t waste any time pressing his hands to their cheeks, looking into their lightly moist eyes, “Oh sweetheart, I will come over tonight. How about I drive us after school? We can stop by my house, then family video, and if you want a convenient store!”
“Really?!?” (Y/N) bounced in their seat, overjoyed.
Eddie chuckled and kissed their forehead, “Now eat, we have class soon.”
Lunch went smoothly, the Hellfire boys mainly talked about new characters for new campaigns or about new dice. (Y/N) listening contently, and asking if they could fill out a character sheet. They were already an honorary member, however, was too nervous to play up until this point. Eddie decided they would fill the sheet later, at their home.
Soon, the bell rang meaning lunch was over. The group split up, (Y/N) heading one way, Eddie carrying their bag along with his, and the rest of the group exploding rushing all different ways. (Y/N) had to go to their history class, while Eddie had to go to English (which was on the opposite side of the school). When they arrived, Eddies kissed (Y/N)’s forehead and stroked their cheek. Both quietly wished each other a good day and promised to meet at his van.
(Y/N) sat next to their friend Robin, slumping in their seat. Robin was not great with social cues, but was quick to notice this and assumed the worse. Robin turned to her friend looking panicked, “Are you okay? Please tell me you aren’t slipping right now. Cause I wouldn’t know what to do or how to get you out of here without-”
“Robin, I’m fine. I’m not slipping.” (Y/N) promised turning their attention to the teacher, who was now putting on a history documentary. This class would be smooth, now to get through the other 2 classes.
“Then what’s wrong?” Robin pushed, curious at this point.
“I just can’t figure out if Eddie would want to take care of me when I slip, like be my caregiver… I tried to drop hints, I introduced him to Mr. snuggles and he didn’t pick up on it! So then I tried to figure out if he was a… you know, by watching him and just seeing, ya know?” They whispered, frustration evident, “It’s just he makes me want to regress around him, how he talks to me and always makes sure I’m okay… I don’t know.”
“Maybe you need to just talk to him about it. I mean- c’mon- Eddie can’t judge you, he wouldn’t!” Robin says, “or you could snoop, that would be easier.”
“Hmmmm… He’s sleeping over tonight maybe I could snoop in his van, and then drop hints when we pick movies and snacks?”
“Good idea!”
They both dropped into a comfortable silence, learning about the renaissance through a terrible documentary. The rest of the day was a boring blur, of information and teachers’ lives. Luckily, the final bell rang, meaning it was officially the weekend. (Y/N) stopped at their locker before making their way to the parking lot. The sun blinded them as they search for Eddie’s beat up old van. It was easy to spot, especially with music blaring from inside, as Eddie made it to the van first. (Y/N) started bounding to the vehicle, their backpack bouncing against their back. Eddie spotted them as he stepped out to greet them properly.
“Hey Baby, how was your day?” Eddie asked as he wrapped his arms around their waist lifting them off the ground slightly.
“It was good, D-” (Y/N) quickly caught their slip up and interrupted themselves, “In history, we watched a movie!”
“Wow baby, sounds like you had quite the day! Maybe you can tell me more about it during the car ride?” Eddie smiled, walking them to the passenger seat and opening the door for them. Watched as they climbed in, in case they needed help getting situated.
“Can I pick the music?” They were met with a nod and a point to the console full of cassette tapes. Eddie walked, with a passion to the other side, not wanting to leave them in the car alone for any longer than needed.
Once sat in his seat, Eddie looked at (Y/N) digging through his music, not yet buckled in. Soon ‘Love Gun’ by KISS was playing, and Eddie was leaning over to buckle them in, before taking off (not buckling himself in). “So tell me more about your day, Prince(ss).”
“Oh! So in math, we played a quiz game, and if you got the question right, you got candy!” (Y/N) said, pulling candy out of the pocket on their bag.
“Woah, my baby is so smart! How many questions did you get right?” Eddie smiled, similarly to the Chesire Cat.
“I got all 10 right! So I got extra for getting all of them!” The praise was nearly enough to make them slip, however they fought it off.
The pair's first stop was at Eddie’s trailer. (Y/N) stayed in the car, as requested by Eddie. They took this opportunity to snoop around his van. Opening the middle console, the console in front of them, and eyeing the back of the van: nothing. All he had in the back was a small mattress and posters, similar to his bedroom. Soon the door flung open and Eddie was throwing a duffle bag in the back, hopping in.
“Now let’s go get some movies baby,” Eddie said.
“How was your day?” (Y/N) finally asked, feeling big enough to remember their manners.
“Amazing, now that I’m with you,” Eddie replied cheekily, pulling their hand to kiss the back of it.
“I’m glad we can have a sleepover tonight…” (Y/N) said, Eddie was caught by the wording. Most teens would say ‘I’m glad you can stay over’, avoiding the word sleepover. The word feels childish and innocent.
“I am too,” Eddie wanted to say more, but they were at the store. So he decided to jump out and ignore his urge to ask stupid questions. He opened the door for (Y/N), holding their hand as they hop out as well.
Walking into the Family Videos, they were expecting to see Steve, however, were met with Keith’s unwelcoming face. Rather than starting a conversation with the unhappy man, the pair decided to wander until they find something. The couple started in the horror section but quickly moved past it, (Y/N) not wanting to watch a scary movie while so close to slipping. Shortly they found two comedies, and a thriller, and (Y/N) grabbed a kid’s film and claimed it was their favorite as a child.
“Hmm... I’ve never watched that, maybe we can grab a few more and watch stuff from our childhood all night?” Eddie asked gently, prompting them to grab another movie, Sleeping Beauty.
“I have some movies at home too…” (Y/N) managed to mumble out, staring at the two movies they were holding: a carebears movie and a Disney one. They wanted to giggle at the fact they were getting away with getting them on account of them being part of their childhood.
“Okay, Sweetpea,” Eddie bit his lip to stop himself from smiling too wide. This had to be a sign of them being a regressor. It just had to.
Eddie walked them to the counter putting the five movies on it. Eddie was quick to pull out his wallet, paying to rent the movie onto his account. He wouldn’t be caught dead letting his baby pay for anything, even if he had very little money. Luckily, he had enough to pay, and even enough for some snacks for the night in also. Thank goodness for the Jocks throwing a rager the week before and going to him for… Party favors…
Eddie led (Y/N) out of the store carrying the movies for them. They assumed since his hands were full they should go and open their own door only to be met with Eddie loudly demanding they get their hands off the door handle. Once he put all the movies in one hand, he pulled open the door for them and helped them in, and placed the movies at their feet. As he walked around the van to get in, he grumbled about how they were trying to steal his job. When he finally got in he jokingly wagged his finger at them shaking his head, although laughing slightly.
“Now, do you want to head home, or stop for snacks?” He asked, buckling up and watching as they did the same this time.
“We can head home, we have snacks at home…” They said while smiling, “Even got your favorite!”
“Oh, did you know? Had this all planned out before you even asked me, huh?” Eddie teased, one hand moving towards them as he began to drive.
“NO! Wanted to have it for if you ever wanted to hang out!” (Y/N) giggled out as they were poked at.
“Hm, guess I will believe you,” Eddie glanced at them. They looked slightly fidgety, gnawing at their bottom lip, “Baby, that lip isn’t food.”
The comment made them immediately stop chewing their lip. They realized how close to slipping they were, all because of how well they were being taken care of. Tonight was going to be a challenge, how were they going to stay big the rest of the night, if they couldn’t for a simple car trip. Usually, they would be able to stay big for a very long time, even when he babied them, today was different. It was like Eddie had taken everything up a notch.
They were so deep in thought they didn’t realize Eddie got out of the car to help them out. They were startled when their door was flung open, they recovered quickly. Unbuckling themself, they turned towards the door, Eddie grabbed their waist and helped them down (You know what I’m talking about like he lifts them, and it's so cute!!!). Eddie then grabs his duffle bag and the movies.
The two walked up to the door where (Y/N) realized they have to find the key in their bag. After struggling and fumbling for way too long, they found the key ring. Unluckily, there were multiple keys on the ring, causing another struggle, this one was short-lived as Eddie took the keys and unlocked the door quickly for them.
“Thank you,” They mumbled walking in, and closing the door behind them.
“No problem baby,” Eddie said kissing their head, dropping the keys in the bowl by the front door before following them to the living room.
Eddie was obviously snooping, looking at pictures and random nicknacks in the room. He almost bounced in joy when they pulled them towards their room, saying they want to change but don’t want to be alone. When the got to the room, he saw a (What your room looks like) room. He was soon snooping through their dresser feeling the fabrics of their clothing, before covering by saying which they should wear as its super soft. Once (Y/N) was out of the room, just in the bathroom right next door, Eddie jumped to look in their closet and under their bed to find a “little” box.
Soon Eddie came face-to-box, with an ordinary-looking shoe box, the only shoe box in the room. With a quick glance around, he throw the box on the bed and opened it. BOOM! This is the proof he was looking for! The box contained crayons, coloring pages, and a paci (and/or chewie, depending on your little age). Too busy soaking in his find, he forgot to pay attention to the door.
(Y/N) entered the room ready to jump on their boyfriend, but was cut short by the sight of his shocked face and their secret box. They needed an excuse, he looks shocked… ‘Maybe it isn’t shock, maybe it’s disgust! SAY SOMETHING, LIE’
“What are you doing?” Was all they managed to let out, their voice caught in their throat. Eyes began to glaze with tears, regression was creeping in from the back of their mind.
“Oh, I’m just looking in your box! You draw so well Baby!” Eddie said entirely genuinely, however to them it seemed to be a taunt or tease of them.
“IT’S NOT MINE I PROMISE!” (Y/N) cried out, tears still yet to leave their eyes. They were slowly trying to back out of the room. Maybe they could run, at least then they can be free from this torture.
“Then who’s is it?” Eddie asked, smirking, too caught up to realize their distress, “Come over here.”
“N-No! Ou don like me an more!!!” They yelled, stumbling towards the stairs.
Eddie quickly realized he didn’t deal with the situation correctly, rushing to keep his little one away from the stairs. Luckily as they were partially regressed they were moving slower than he was. He caught them easily, hands catching their armpits and picking them up. Once they landed on his hip, they tried thrashing. Eddie was hit in the face once or twice before they were placed on the edge of their bed.
“Stop,” Eddie commanded. This caused their kicking and flailing to stop, but their tears continued. Their sobs ripped through his heart.
“I Sowwy!” They said wanting this to be over, wanting him to say he thought they were gross or whatever else he had to say.
“Baby, thank you for apologizing. I am sorry for scaring you, and looking in your box.” Eddie said hands stroking the sides of their face, “I’m also sorry for not realizing you were upset, I was just so excited that you were a regressor that I missed your queues!”
With big teary eyes, (Y/N) blinked in realization. Tears changed from sad to happy cries, “Weawwy?”
“Yes Baby, I am so excited to see you little and help take care of you!” Eddie said, a smile of pure joy. He quickly remembered they didn’t agree to him being their caregiver, “That is if you want me to be your caregiver?”
“YESSSS!!!! PEASE!” (Y/N) jumped on him, tears left to a sniffle.
“Good, 'cause that means I can go put on a movie for you and get some yummy food, and then take care of you all night. How about you pick a paci, stuffie, and blankie?” Eddie asked grabbing their box so they can pick a paci.
“Seep down’taiws?” (Y/N) asked, picking a paci.
“Yes, we will sleep downstairs.” Smiling as they start trying to grab blankets and pillows, “And I will get everything for our sleepover, you are far too little to carry these!”
Eyes wide, staring at their new caregiver, their hearts swell. He was so good at taking care of them, “Okie Dada!”
summary: You take care of your daddy after he comes homes from being a hero
eddie masterlist
Eddie stumbled through the door with only one thing on his mind. His angel. The only reason he even did all this crazy stuff in the first place. Everything is for you. Where are you? Normally when you spend the night at Eddie's, if he’s not there for bedtime, you stay up - waiting. You aren’t in front of the small, square tv in the living room, where you usually are, watching cartoons. You aren’t in the in the kitchen either, he’s still on high alert and not being able to find you is sending him into a frenzy,
“Angel! Where are you?! I'm back!”
He’s running to his room at this point, not even bothering to check the bathroom or if his uncle is even there. When the bedroom door flies open he swears everything froze for a second. There you were propped up on his pillows, walkie in one hand and your stuffy in another. You have your favorite paci he made for you hanging out of your mouth and all the lights are on. Your coloring books are still laid out on his floor, you really tried to stay up. He carefully makes his way over to you, leaning down to kiss your forehead, pausing for a second to breathe in the smell of your shampoo. He lifts you into a more comfortable position and you stir in his arms, twisting your body to rub your face on his chest, through blurry, slightly crusty you eyes you squint at him,
“Dada?”
“Hi angel, shhh it’s ok go back to sleep.”
He tries to set you down but all you do is whine and tighten your arms around him. He shifts you so your legs are wrapped around his waist and you both just sit there holding each other, squeezing tighter ever so often. Your whole body is shaking, he can feel it. He knows you were scared, you didn’t want to stay behind but if anything happened to you, Eddie wouldn’t be able to live with himself. After a moment his own shoulder start to shake,
“Sweetheart, I'm so sorry. I- I just didn’t want - you have to understand I did this to keep you safe. Whatever happened to Chrissy, cannot - will not happen to you. I had to make sure you would be safe here, angel. I’m so sorry I scared you,”
He was crying now, he’s supposed to be the one to comfort you, keep you safe and happy. And here he was crying to you and you were the one who was scared for your daddy. He feels like a joke, a horrid caregiver. Thinking you’d be better off with someone else as your daddy, but before he can even finish the thought, you are up and off his lap running to the corner of his room, for a second he’s worried he said something wrong, that you're running from him, he almost loses it. Until you grab his stuffed frog (named Phineas), your sippy filled with cold water, a few story books and your blankey. With your little arms full, you toddle over to his bed and set down the loot. Quickly flashing him a big smile and turing the big lights off and your little night light on,
“Here dada le me help chu,” you spoke from around you paci. You wrap your little blankey around him the best you can and set Phineas in his arms. You reach to hand him your sippy, which he great fully takes a sip from after kissing up your arms to tickle you. You giggle and squeal, just what he wanted, and set down the stories in front of him,
“Which story do you wan”
You were absolutely beaming, you were so excited to help daddy feel better like he does for you. And your daddy was never more sure that he'd die for you, you are such an amazing baby. So kind and caring, he doesn’t know what he did to deserve you. No one has ever made eddie feel so loved and cared for,
“You pick my angel, I know you’ll pick a good one”
You think for a moment before you got it, you jump up to run grab a new one your daddy wrote for you,
“Dis one!” you shouted running in, it’s a very recently written and very new saga of “The Adventures of Sir Edward the Noble Knight and His Precious Prince/ss (name that’s similar to yours)” my canon is that Eddie’s real name is Edmund btw this specific edition is about Sir Edward rescuing the royal cutie pie from monster under their bed. You plop next to him, but Eddie slips you over onto his lap and under the soft blanket. Before you start he gives you a small kiss to your nose and forehead,
“Once upon a time-“
You started, doing all the voices of the different characters, just like dada does. Making Eddie laugh as you attempted to sound like him, your normally sweet little baby voice deepened and distorted for comedic effect. Every now and then pausing to giggle at something that happens in the story or asking your daddy to help with big words. By the time you're nearing the end Eddie can feel your body start to sag and your voice start to drift off. He gently lays himself down almost flat and tries to coerce the book from your hands,
“Not done yet, Sir Edward still has to tuck in the prince/ss!” you lightly argued, you were trying to comfort him. What is he doing?
“Alright alright let’s finish, I'm sorry baby cakes. You are doing great!” you smile at that and finish up the story getting to your favorite part,
“And then Sir Edward laid the pretty prince/ss in their soft, fluffy bed. Tucked them into a little blankey burrito and placed a kiss on their forehead. The end!”
You closed the notebook and twisted around in eddie’s lap, wrapping your arms around his neck,
“You're brave, jus like him dada. Make me feel safe, you my hero,” you told him with a slight wobble to your lip. If he didn’t feel his heart shattering before, it was now. You are really the best baby ever, he loves you so much. Before he can say anything back you’re speaking again,
“an’ I always keep you safe, fight off da bad guys wif you,” your words started to slur more as you slipped deeper, “I wuv you dada.” No matter how hard you fought it, sleep was taking over. With watery eyes, Eddie squeezed you so hard he had to stop himself, in fear of breaking you. He carefully laid you down, slipped your paci into your mouth and tucked you into him. no matter what was going on with him, he loved to take care of you too.
“I love you my sweet angel, so so much”
A/N: ok so this was my first time writing anything more than headcanons, and even that i’m new to
so be nice please 🫠
Also the scene when they are comforting him with a story is inspired by a fic on here that I read about little reader comforting Bucky Barnes after a nightmare. I will tag it if i can find it!!
Also I'm trying really hard to make this as inclusive as possible so if you see anything too descriptive, let me know!!! I write the reader as small/little to help with regressing, it’s not a description of the reader's body!!!
Summary: When everything is too much, Eddie will always be there to help you.
A/N: This is kind of rushed & I'm half asleep but I still really wanted to get some Eddie fluff out there before midnight tonight.... just in case 😭😭 No matter what happens, he's already such a beloved comfort character for me so I was still really happy to write this for him. Even though its pretty short I promise I'll have more Eddie fics in the pretty near future! 😄💕🦇
Your hands gripped tight on the door handle, knuckles bracing against skin as you held on for dear life. Even if you had the courage to complain, the most trained ear wouldn’t be able to hear you over the heavy rock music vibrating through the van. Eddie peeled out of the school parking lot, nearly tipping over as he took the turn towards his trailer. You squeezed your eyes shut; you normally didn’t have a problem with the reckless way Eddie drove, but the smaller you regressed, the scarier everything seemed.
As the van screeched to a halt at an intersection, Eddie took a moment to admire you, just as he did hundreds of times a day. When he saw your terrified face, his heart sank. He kicked himself mentally for not realizing sooner that you were little, and he immediately slammed a hand down on the stereo button to quiet the music. He should have known you were having a bad day, he should have noticed the signs, but he was riding on the high of a good session at Hellfire and your mood shift just didn’t register to him. In the newfound silence of the car, he could hear your labored breaths as you tried to calm yourself down. No more; that was his job now. His calloused hand reached out to yours.
“Shh baby, it’s okay. Shhh…” He whispered, leaning over to stroke your hand and relax the muscles that were still holding fast to the door.
The cold sensation of his rings against your skin was just enough to distract you from your fear. You began to fiddle with one, an angry pig that you thought was more cute than intimidating, twisting it around and around Eddie’s slender finger.
“Do you wanna wear it?” He asked, and you nodded. He slid it off his finger onto yours and you quickly resumed your stimming. Your breathing slowed.
“Hey, yeah, that's it baby. You’re okay now, I promise. I’m gonna drive real careful back home, okay?” And you nodded again.
The light had long since turned green, but Hawkins was a small enough town that no cars were waiting behind you. True to his word, Eddie slowly pressed the gas pedal and drove you to his trailer, even staying below the speed limit and taking all the turns as carefully as he could. When he pulled into his parking spot, he did it ever so slowly so as not to jerk you around. He put the vehicle in park and unstrapped his seatbelt, hopping out and jogging over to your door. Without needing to be asked, he unbuckled your seatbelt and took you in his arms, helping you onto the ground. He walked you to the door of the trailer, fishing his key out of his jacket pocket and unlocking it with one hand, the other gripping yours nearly as tightly as you’d been clutching the car door.
When you reached his room at the end of the trailer, he let go of your hand, and already you missed his touch. But he was only gone for a moment, having to let you go so he could get the shoebox out from under his bed, the shoebox that contained your little gear. A pacifier, a big thick blanket, and a soft but matted teddy bear. It had been Eddie’s when he was a kid, protecting him from nightmares and bullies, and now he trusted the bear to watch over you too. He handed it to you, then offered the paci which you took, and then wrapped the blanket over your shoulders. Your eyes drooped, already exhausted from your meltdown and the long day leading up to it. Eddie sat on the bed and patted the spot next to him. You wasted no time, instantly positioning yourself in that familiar embrace, his scent of hairspray and stale smoke calming every nerve in your body. You knew it in your heart, as long as you had your Eddie, as long as you had your love, everything was okay.
