THE WAY HE CAUGHT HIMSELF AND APOLOGIZED..... IM GONNA CRY
Every time Inuyasha and Koga catch even a whiff of each other
According to Inuyasha, Koga has a "conceited" smell.
Kind of fitting that the latest chapter you'd read atm would be 964 since I have a question which pertains to that chapter and others. So, at the end of ch 1 Shanks tells Luffy to return the straw hat when he's become a "great pirate". In the English version only two characters (iirc) are introduced with that exact phrase, Whitebeard and Roger. (ch 234 & 964 respectively) In the original Japanese text, are these the exact same words as the one Shanks uses in ch 1? Hope the OP drought isn't bad!
they’re different, actually! shanks tells luffy to become a 立派な海賊/rippa-na kaizoku, with 立派/rippa meaning something more like ‘fine’ or ‘splendid.’ meanwhile, roger and whitebeard are both introduced as 大海賊/daikaizoku, more literally ‘great pirate.’ i’d say the latter comes off more as an actual title, albeit an informal one, while what shanks says to luffy is more of just a normal phrase/description.
however, like i actually pointed out wayyyy back during jaya, daikaizoku is the same phrase used in the name of the great pirate era started by roger’s death- the 大海賊時代/daikaizoku jidai.
Ch. 234
I'm shocked by this Chapter...
