Denjiro is not koshiro (kuina’s pops) proof. ch 969

ch 969 is out officially so go ahead and read it. this post is about denjiro.

first. faces 

koshirou has a no scars above his eyes. denjiro has a scar above his eye.

2.) the swords comparison. this is wado ichimonji. wado ichimonji has a pure white sheathe. it has not markings on the sheathe itself

this is denjiro’s sword’s sheathe which has markings.

so in conclusion denjiro is not koshirou nor are the swords similar. for the longest time there was a possibility of denjiro being koshiro though. ive always wanted to know what happened to denjiro. theres two possible theories.

one being the obvious question of if denjiro is the witching hour boy. which would make him a viable ally for the upcoming battle against kaido but if he is the witching hour boy then why hasnt he shown up even after yasuuie’s death? why doesnt shutenmaru aka ashura douji say anything about this or mention him.he would know what atleast happened to denjiro right?

the 2nd being one of the theories that i read here. i cant find the post itself but its tied in with why tashigi looks like kuina. basically shimotsuki kozaburou the guy who made wado ichimonji had twins but he only took one kid to east blue when he ran away there and orphaned denjiro here. and denjiro grew up in wano as an orphan and koshiro grew up in the east blue and kept the wado ichimonji as a heirloom. and this is just further theorizing but since denjiro seems to have been missing from the scene and if he’s alive and not captured he could have gone anywhere and had a family ya know.you know how sometimes twins have kids that also look identical? something like that. its believable through shonen standards.

the 3rd one is just a what if all though all of these are fcuking what ifs. but there is a possibility that kaido captured denjiro and hasnt told orochi. like from previous chapters we know that orochi and kaido dont have the best communications. kaido didnt tell orochi the scabbards were alive with momo and nor did orochi tell kaido about him making moves and stuff. so there is obvious miscommunications right? so kaido couldve done it. he does like to torture and break peoples will. especially strong ones. we’ll have to wait i guess.

but yeah these are just alternate explanations. but something solid that can be confirmed is that denjiro is not koshirou.

Not that we didn’t already know how awful Orochi is because of what he’s been up to in the present, but he’s really awful and while I don’t think there’s much else Oden could have done at this point he has to feel completely helpless by now.
