These kinds of panels are my favorite in the entire series. The stakes are relatively low. The Straw Hats are all together and working well as a group--Sanji making food to Chopper’s specifications, Robin inspecting the samples she collected earlier, the sharing of information. Luffy’s already eaten an entire sky shark and I wouldn’t be surprised if Usopp made those tents himself, You really get the vibe that they’re enjoying each other’s company, working together as a family.

It’s a well-deserved high note and serves as a nice respite right before everything all goes to shit, and I love it so much
