You mentioned your favorite ship in genshin was a poly ship. If you don't mind me asking, what is it and why do you love it so much?
Oh, yeah! Definitely, I don't mind! I know shipping wars are crazy in the Genshin fandom so I first gotta say that I am a multishipper and ship a lot of the stuff in this fandom, especially around these three characters. pls don't skin me because you don't think I ship other stuff, I do and it really doesn't matter in the end. The likelihood of anything becoming canon in this fandom in nonexistent.
But my favorite ship is Kaeya/Albedo/Childe or Chaebedo! First off, all of them are skilled fighters and are great with kids and that is 100% the main reason. Klee is one of my favorite characters and I just want her to have three fun big brothers looking out for her!
A big second is their thematic parallels. Kaeya and Albedo are prophecized or worried about betraying/harming their nation, Childe literally tried to destroy Liyue, lol. Plus they all have that abyss trauma. They would bond and connect over it <3
Another is the drama kinda coming from it? Like, Jean reacting to these two dating a fatui harbinger, expecting shit to hit the fan almost immediately. Another is Diluc, like, how the fuck would Diluc take this?! Would the Harbingers be mad at Childe? Would Childe leave the Fatui? Like, there are so many possible ways to take this and I love it!
