actually, i just thought of a new idea, instead of elliot x reader, i want to do a dusekkar x female reader angst, where just a few months after the reader gets married to dusekkar, (there childhood friends and the reader was the only one who accepted dusekkar) she dies/sent into a coma because builderman sent her on a dangerous mission. dusekkar almost kills builderman. but stops knowing it won't help anything. this ok?
actually, i was gonna ask if you DON'T do the rhyming, also i had the idea of them having a kid before the reader's death, with them inheriting they're father's antlers and magic potential, there named is aspen (you can decide on the gender)
waow im so excited for more angst are you
thank you person for not making me do his rhyming for i suck
lets just believe its duse being too pissed off to rhyme,, okay,,
It had been a normal day, considering how closely you worked with admins and viruses. But of course, things have to go wrong.
As you lay there, on the stained and glitched cobble, you wonder, how could it have changed? How could have things been different? Should you have declined this mission? Try to get a new mission and let someone else take the fall of this one? No. You couldn’t, people always did say you had a bleeding heart.
You remember the days before, before Dusekkar was even considered an admin, before he was even well liked, before Builderman had started giving out dangerous missions like this. Oh what would they think of you now? What would they think of Builderman? He was just trying to keep Robloxia, and them by extension, safe. You were too, you wanted your family safe so you took it upon yourself to take the mission.
Those days were always so nice, not having to shoulder Robloxia’s problems just yet.
You peeked around the corner, watching as Dusekkar read alone, anyone else that walked by had turned their nose up at him, tried to make him feel less, or tried to start something by throwing things at him. The flame in his pumpkin head always grew bright those times, but it always seemed to scare them away instead of bringing in more strife.
You had stood up for him one time, when others had not, when they stood against him trying to put him down. The two of you were quickly friends after that, for all you cared about was that Dusekkar was nice to you and didn’t actually want to hurt anybody.
The two of you had been friends for oh so long that neither one of you could remember when exactly you became that. Friends. Nor could you remember when it started to bleed into something else, love.
Aspen was more Dusekkar’s code than yours, but she still looked heavily like you. She had inherited your looks, yet his kind of magic and antlers. She was so eager to learn how to control her magic, so eager to help.
Six months before the mission, the two of you had gotten married and she was the flower girl. Aspen had begged Dusekkar to learn how to make pure magic flowers and petals just for the wedding, it was so heart-warming covering the two up with a blanket every time they had fallen asleep together while he taught her how.
A month before, Dusekkar had caught wind of the mission from Builderman, he had tried to warn the other that this mission would not go well, that it would tear things apart. But did the other listen? No. He thought the admin and team assigned would be able to pull through.
The last things you heard were heavy footsteps, the slight crackle of magic and the start of a shout before your vision went black.
Dusekkar stood over the bed that held you, staff clutched tightly in his hands, Aspen curled up next to your deathly still body. Aspen’s head propped up on your abdomen as her hands messed with one of your still hands.
Tubes were hooked up to your body, sending pieces of fresh code and blood into your system, in hopes to combat the virus that tried to make you its home.
His flame burned brighter, grew more hot at the thought of Builderman sending you into a mission that could’ve.. would’ve killed you. He turned, giving Aspen a pat on the head between her antlers, and left but not before asking something.
”Dear, would you please watch over your parent? I have.. someone I need to talk to.”
Aspen looked up sharply, but couldn’t find any words to say before Dusekkar was out of the room. The air crackled with soured magic, interns and office workers parting the way for him as he floated through the place, looking for Builderman.
It didn’t take long for him to find the other, as he was in a meeting with the others that had also been on the mission itself or the board for it. He didn’t pay attention to the others, just Builderman.
Was all the warning he got before a strike of lightning nearly shot through his head , having felt the change and ducked.
Before Builderman had to duck again, this time the others in the meeting trying to stop Dusekkar, the Doe’s trying to sway his attention, Clockwork trying to mess up his shots and Doombringer trying to get Builderman out. He’s almost successful, but a shield forms around Builderman and slams him into a wall.
The shield slowly constricts around him, he bangs at the walls of it as it goes in. Dusekkar stares at Builderman, his flame bright yet it flickers as he watches. Doombringer lunges for an arm, it breaking his concentration as John gently grabs his staff out of his hand, having to pry it out actually with how hard Dusekkar’s hand had clenched down onto it.
He states as Jane and Clockwork help Builderman up, his flame slowly flickering into a slow and small flame. He slumps against Doombringer, his frame shaking.
Builderman stares for a while at Dusekkar, before he walks closer and has a shaky hand on the others shoulder.
”.. Nah. I’m the one who should be sorry.”
It’s a very long time before either Dusekkar or Aspen leave your side. Neither one wanting to gone if something happened. They were both asleep when it happened, the code and blood finally stopped giving.
