Oh it's ROUGH to see Ace go from this:

But look at that gorgeous and highly intentional composition of these two panels...! I didn't even notice what Oda-sensei had done here until I was doing screenshots. It's just fantastic.

Teach's power is TERRIFYING, and we don't even find out the full scope of what it can do until later (if we even know everything there is to know about it at this point). But the way it cancels out Devil Fruit powers... Just gotta hope that Haki is the way to go? Because that's the one thing that Luffy has that Ace didn't. (Not much call for it when you're a Logia user who can literally turn into flame!)
