Still progressing through this character thing. They feel like a springy, twisty individual. Similar to Julie or Sally, but more toned down. they like to play games involving body movement and listen to others’ thoughts on things, inane as they may be. I imagine Quincy being the type to stand close to people, maybe absently draping an arm around them or patting a head. What’s inside their sleeves? I don’t think it’s a hand.

Extra Color patterns! Again, I can’t seem to decide… the blue hair’s kinda growing on me tho.

So I did it..fan oc for firefly foundations >:)

Nothing is completely final but I did make it cuz I swear i remember a post saying it was ok to make fan oc’s for it and just to ping you… :3

So heya @peteytheparrot ! I saw once you said fan oc’s were fine but you wanted to see them (unless I dreamed of it then I’m so sorry this is embarrassing then…) this is my Firefly Foundations fan oc!! ^^

Anywayssss cuz my handwriting sometimes sucks lol

Anyways I’m doing it surrounding the time period (no many trans stuff for people I’m assuming, woman do ‘women things’ and don’t go to war, work men jobs, ect. If I get stuff wrong tell me lol but it’s still a WIP too)

- prefers he/him, and will address himself as a male, can also go by they/them. You can use she/her as he won’t correct someone if they go ‘oh look at her coat’ but won’t address himself as a she or her. But he does really prefer he/him or they/them or both

- pansexual

- wears more manly clothes, but the only way his female side coming out is by the length of his outwear being long like a dress

- his blends in as a man more because he naturally has a smaller chest so he looks like he has a flat chest like a man

- he found his birth certificate and was able to, very illegally, change it from female to male to be able to be drafted in the war

- when out he got tortured and on his Left hand he got 3 out of 4 of her claws pulled out. Equivalent of declawing a cat lol, so he has pain in that hand and has trouble writing now because of it (he’s left handed woah

- his eye is more? Less??? Messed up? Before he had an extremely bad lazy eye to the point it sometimes was like a googly eye when he dissociated. Now his lazy eye is way way better, but he was pretty much blinded in that eye so he can’t see very well out of that eye

- he does work for the FF, he was hired because he desperately needed money. After the war he got ptsd and became extremely aggressive towards anyone who became violent to others and would begin to attack them. He was fired and banned from working from many places without someone to emotionally support him and watch over him, as he had beaten the crap out of one too many people. He was hired after he was on an episode being already pissed and most likely probably brushed up against Milo and he most likely lunged at him and went straight to trying/beating him up in his rage and I’d imagine Milo would’ve been walking with someone else or he had a gun and in the end Milo would’ve gotten him off himself and Milo noticed how odd he seemed and offered them a job, to which they accepted as they had gotten out of their episode.

- He was hired before Milo killed his father, so he didn’t get to know Obsidian very well, like possibly a month before? Or 2 weeks before?

- he is supposed to be hunting Obsidian but he usually finds where Obsidian is and just sometimes talks with him for a short moment before just leaving and being gone

- he’s based on a oriental short hair and a oriental long hair (OMG HES A ORIENTAL MEDIUM HAIRRRR)

- as a child ha ears were always either droopy or have droopy (half way perked up) but once he got older he became on edge almost all the time and his ears are practically permanently perked up now, it takes a bit of energy for him to keep them up from how big they are lol

- bottom canines and some bottom teeth are fake, some lost from lack of hygiene while in the war and some from being tortured.

Once I get a name I’ll finalize them fully and get out their relationships with other characters:3 ^^

Trying but struggling with colour palettes for the silver chair.

I think I need to explore more with caspian. Lilliandils colours are blue and gold, caspian is purple/red and gold, but I wanted to see him in blue to make them more unified. Caspian in SO much blue feels deeply wrong, though I don’t mind it on old caspian.

I also had never considered putting the lady of the green kirtle in more pastelly colours, it kind of goes with the princess ingenue deception idea in my head.

Rillian will be a mix of his parents colours, and I’m thinking purple works as his colour too. So maybe caspian should be more red and gold?

I’m trying to be brave and sharing more of my ugly (to me) sketches as motivation. Because the ugly part of the process is the one that stumps me the most but this part is important so I actually know what I wanna do with colours.

I’m also doing a lot of warm greens with LotGK but maybe some cooler greens would work as well? Especially since caspian and lilliandil are kind of warm toned. Idk

Also here’s my hidden rillian because I’m ashamed. The colours need to be more rich but I’m scared of saturation apparently.
