How to Make Cheap Food Taste Good-ish: Kraft Dinner Edition
Make the pasta according to the directions on the box, over the stovetop. Add about 2 tsp of table salt while your water boils. Stir occasionally to make sure it doesn't stick to the bottom.
Drain the pasta. Make sure there isn't a pool of pasta water in the bottom of you pot, that shit is gross.
Add in 1 tbsp butter (or margarine but butter will taste better), 2 tbsp milk, and the powered cheese packet, and mix well.
Then, add in 1 cup marble cheese, or ½ cup each mozzarella and sharp cheddar if you forgot to buy marble cheese. If all you have is Kraft Singles, do not add those. Add in ½ cup shitty bacon bits you keep in your freezer to extend their shelf life.
Add in some more milk or salt if you think it needs it. AKA, add milk if it's too thick, and salt if it's too bland.
Sit down and reap the benefits of your work. That's a $3.00 meal right there and it tastes pretty good. Share with someone if you can't eat the entire box by yourself, because leftover kraft dinner tastes gross.
have fun and don't splash boiling water on yourself.
