Reasons why I’m still fat:
It’s not a plateau nor is it a slowed down metabolism. It’s poor food choices and just being sloppy with calorie counting.
If there’s an explanation I’ll gladly hear😐
How do you all manage cheat days? Once a week? Once a month? Never? Based on the theory of consuming more calories to jump start the metabolism... trying to balance 'letting' myself eat unsafe foods....
Terrine — Cheat Days (Bruit Direct)
Cheat Days by TERRINE
Operating under the moniker Terrine, Claire Gapenne has assembled a meandering Rube Goldberg machine of slackerly weirdness in Cheat Days. DIY basement techno seems to be an occasional, distant reference point. Yet no genre or any other kind of coherent musical form receives much investment, and one gets the sense that’s kind of the point. Apropos of its name, Cheat Days feels… not particularly committed.
Too add onto the whole terrible week of food.
I am currently making bbq pulled pork. I’m trying to kid myself by saying it won’t be that bad, but pork shoulder has so much fat in it. And the bbq sauce probably won’t be much better.
The scales will hate me tomorrow.
Cheat days....
Do you have cheat days or do you just eat what you want when you want within reason? I’m kind of a mix of both. Because of my history of an ED, I don’t limit what I eat. If I want a chocolate bar then I eat it. I am however much more conscious about what goes in my mouth. I’m more likely to eat a salad than a hamburger and maybe have a few bites of a chocolate bar. I don’t eat like this because I have to, I do it because I work hard at the gym and am trying to get healthy. Part of being healthy means putting good food that fuels you into your body. I do still enjoy a really good cheat day where I let it all go though. Tonight we had pizza, wings, cheese sticks and i also had a gin and tonic. I didn’t gorge, nor did I eat to the point of making myself ill. I did however enjoy every single mouthful!
Don’t make getting healthy about limiting yourself. Getting healthy is about enjoying your life while still getting fit. It’s taken me allot of years to realize this and I wish everyone could learn from my mistakes.
