Does Dutch prefer to eat kidney beans or baked beans?

Well, this certainly is an interesting question to wake up to!

It sounds very important, indeed.

Here is what I would say: If the beans are plain and eaten alone (ex: if they are the only food available when camping), then baked beans would be preferred. They usually have a strong flavor and taste quite good without needing to add anything to them. If the beans are cooked in something (ex: a soup or casserole), then kidney beans would be preferred. They are not quite as flavorful on their own, but they taste better when they're mixed with other ingredients.
