Real footage of me getting through this past week……
😓❤️🤤
I’m sadly feeling the lack of a daily med that helps with my menopause symptoms. 😢 It’s so far one of the few downfalls living in a rural town that no longer has a local pharmacy. *sigh* Plus the closest one to me is usually out-of-stock of that medication too. 😣 I just get peeved with myself that I lose so much energy and focus to get things done. Even with things I enjoy doing. It reminds me of my past years battling with chronic depression, and I straight-up refuse to go back there!
As a Follower of Christ, the Lord gives me comfort in reminding me of something Jesus told His disciples; Peter, John & James, in the garden of Gethsemane. “Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”” (Matthew 26:40-41 NIV) My spirit is so very willing, but my body is imperfect and aging. “That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT) Thank you Holy Spirit for comforting me through God’s Word!!! I’m always too quick to criticize myself. That’s the complete opposite of living in Christ’s Grace freely given to me! Love You, Jesus!!! ❤️

I’m fine though. 💜
I encountered a self-proclaimed witch doctor this week. Among other gifts she bestowed was this book recommendation. I got it from my local “L-eye-barry” and am on a journey further back in time than I’ve ever travelled before. I like that the framing of science and human culture starts on the first page.
