I hc emp, npacer n eging are all about the same age, but prince is a bit younger, so he feels a bit out of touch with them sometimes. HOWEVER laceless is much closer to his age, so they get on really well
both emp and prince knew laceless before they brought the team together, but prince actually put in the time to go find laceless sometimes and have a chat. they were already pretty friendly
eging n npacer r both like older sibling figures to prince. he looks up to npacer a lot as his co-cap and she backs a lot of his decisions or generally helps him feel more confident with things
eging being the oldest on the team does a lot of prince and laceless escorting/"babysitting"
npacer likes people watching! she'll often sit somewhere with a drink and just watch the crowds whilst her team chats or just hangs out. if it's newperor meeting up/they don't have emp with them, everything is a bit more chill n quieter, so prince will often chat to her about who she's spotted
okay, y'know how eging gave prince some shoes, but he hasn't been wearing them? my hc is that they're actually a size too small, but prince didn't have the heart to tell eging that. eventually, he passed them onto laceless, and told eging they were too small, but that he wanted them to still go to a good home. eging was actually really touched by this (I'm a sucker for 'kid who had a mentor becomes a mentor figure themself'). anyway, laceless's shoes are Those Shoes
npacer and emperor also used to attend the same school together and saw each other pretty frequently. eging and prince went to the same one but they were further apart from npacer n emp in terms of years, so they didn't see each other as much
my age hcs r eging's the oldest, npacer is a year and a half younger than him, emp's a year younger than her, prince is two years younger than emp, and laceless is about half a year younger than prince. roughly.
laceless has also subtly encouraged prince to try more 'common people' stuff and generally branch out a bit. honestly they both just feel a lot more confident around each other
