I finally escaped that nightmare of a workplace.

Burnout completely destroyed my creativity and motivation, but I feel so much lighter now. Being subjected to insults, threats, and emotional blackmail day after day was exhausting beyond words.

But in the end, it was all worth it. Even when I handed in my resignation, he still tried to screw me over. And when I pointed out that what he was doing was illegal, he immediately went back to insulting me, telling me I was nobody, that I hadn't studied law, and that I should know my place.

The best part?

You should have seen the look on his face when I answered:

"You're right, sir. I never studied law... but my employment lawyer did."

Funny how quickly the confidence disappeared after that.

Honestly, that moment alone was worth the entire ordeal. 😂
