For serious, though;
Guado hair naturally curls very tightly and has a coarse texture that lets them do all those things you see them doing with it in the game more easily, without it looking unnatural. He’s copying the general idea of Guado hair-fashion, but with his human-like hair texture, it’s pretty difficult. It looks odd compared to theirs, because there’s no way he can properly replicate the root-like way the Guado like to keep it. His is just too slippery and straight. There’s an awful lot of products in it I’m not saying his secret is tree-sap based, but..., and he does take the time to re-style it every couple of days at most. It’s not so much for the sake of fitting in as it is to ensure he looks inhuman to the rest of Spira - it’s a key part of making sure he’s not assimilated and claimed as another human Maester.
