Drizzle it over ice cream, pour it over brownies, or use it as a dip for fruits – this versatile sauce will satisfy your chocolate cravings!
Ingredients: 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and butter over low heat. Stir until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is hot but not boiling. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Let them sit in the hot cream mixture for a minute to soften. Stir the chocolate chips into the cream until the mixture becomes smooth and shiny. If needed, you can gently heat it again on low heat, but be careful not to overheat or burn the chocolate. Once the chocolate is fully incorporated, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir well to combine. Let the homemade chocolate sauce cool slightly before transferring it to a glass jar or container for storage. Use it immediately as a topping for ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or any dessert of your choice. Enjoy!
