Let's Hear A Bit From This Amazing Creator!

Can you tell us a bit about your piece? I had a hard time coming up with something more Christmas related, but as soon as I thought of new years, the idea of something involving the midnight kiss GRIPPED ME! I feel SO much for these idiots and all of their different bonds between each other.

How did you feel about the journey of participating in this volume? It was real fun! It was great having everyone else on the zine server to help me brainstorm the idea and cheer me on as I worked on my piece! Tell us a bit about yourself and where our audience can find you! I am a traditional artist who enjoys videogames, comics, and the frogs! I've been part of the omgcp fandom since 2020, and got obsessed with the frogs around 2021.

Dex was heavy. Chowder had known that, of course. He was used to the space Dex took up on the couch, the field of vision he blocked on the ice. Metaphorically speaking, he was aware of the volume of Dex’s concern. Chowder knew how to account for Dex.

Chowder did not know how to deal with the fact that Dex was pressed on top of him, so close their cheeks were brushing and he couldn’t even see his friend. Chowder did not know how to deal with the fact that he could feel the soft hitch in every breath Dex took. Chowder did not know how to deal with Dex’s breath ghosting over his ear.

Because Chowder did not allow himself to think about his friends in situations where they would be this close.

Performer AU and The Big Damn Kiss for ChowDex. Please.

okay so i’m doing an Orchestra AU becuase Dmitri has strong feelings about it.  dex plays trumpet, Chowder plays tuba (something about loose embouchure and braces) and they’re in rehearsal all the time together. the brass section is small so they’re pretty near each other and there’s a lot of time where they don’t play so they pass notes and make faces and by the end of the semester they can have whole conversations with just their eyebrows. so the night of their performance chowder is bouncing around, super nervous, and Dex offers him a kiss for good luck and Chowder balks and changes the subject but then he can’t stop thinking about it. all through the performance and the party after and walking back to their dorms together he’s thinking about it. and Dex took his flustered subject change as lack of interest so now it’s up to him. so he says something about, “how about a kiss goodnight instead? since i missed the lucky one?” and dex grins and gives him the first kiss to end all first kisses and says something about how he thinks this one will be just as lucky.
