The love of Christ 🌊
Taken from Grace For The Moment by Max Lucado. God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

I should invent the ability to erase memories just so I can spoil every detail of my story and then make you all forget when I release the book
So, asking for prayer for something. I've got a race today and I'm not feeling great, so please please pray that my body can get over itself for like...one day. Like, I can deal with all this tomorrow, but I really don't want to have to fight my way through all this while I'm trying to race. Or that at the very least it stays tolerable because it's okay-ish enough that I'll make it at this point, I just would really really like it to stay that way.
Greatly appreciated and I hope you all have a great day!! <3
A Time To Laugh
Fandom: Christian Bible
Pairing: Thomas & James & John
Tags: fluff, humour, crack, singing, best friends, comfort.
Blurb: When Thomas is having an off day, he thinks no one notices. Someone did. Two someone(s). Menaces, he calls friends. They cheer him up by serenading him. Thomas is doomed.
“Twin,” James, son of Zebedee, called out. Thomas perked up at the sound of his nickname. “Where have you been?” John asked with a mischievous glint in his hazel eyes. What are they talking about? Thomas’s eyebrows pinched together in confusion. He was about to ask them what they meant by that—since he had been in the house with them this whole time. But then James raised his arms, and John pointed toward him, dramatically. Oh no. This can't be good. What are these fools— “Nobody knows me like you do—” “Nobody gon' love me quite like you do—” Thomas blinked rapidly and wondered if he was hallucinating, per chance. He was not. The sons of Zebedee broke out in song, singing at the top of their lungs. “Can't even deny it, every time I try it!” Their voices were in sync as they tried to harmonize—which they horribly failed at. Thomas's ears disapproved, but his heart grew merry at the gesture. “One look in my eyes,” John pointed two fingers to his pupils while James tapped his lips, “you know I'm lying, lying—” They shimmied their shoulders, and wiggled their brows. What in Jerusalem is happening? Thomas was baffled. Or am I in Sheol? He stared at them in disbelief, hand over his mouth, lips twitching. Then without any more prompting he bursted out laughing. Loud. Free. Content. “You guys are stupid!” Twin snickered without restraint at the so-called Sons of Thunder duo. “I can't believe you two!” He could. James and John have proven to be good friends more to him than once. “We got you to laugh, didn't we!” The brothers high-fived, sharing matching grins. “We call that a win.” “Well… thanks, guys,” Thomas wiped the tear from the corner of his eye. “I feel a lot better.” He really did. The disciple had been quieter than usual. He had been feeling down, but he didn't think anyone noticed. Thomas was sure they missed Jesus as much as he did. But they… noticed. They care. “Of course, Twin,” James said, slapping his shoulder lightly. “That's what brothers are for.” “And you know what Jesus said,” John said, suddenly serious. “So in everything, do to others—” he paused, and looked up, nose wrinkling in thought. “Do to others what you would have them do you you!” “That's not the whole thing,” James titled his head to the side, and nearly gave John the stank eye. “For this sums up the Law and the Prophets. That's what He said.” “Same difference!” “Eh, no it's not—” “So you want me to sing for you?” Thomas interrupted, squinting his eyes at them suspiciously. He was in much higher spirits now. Playful even. “Only if you want to,” James snorted. “We just wanted to cheer you up because we're friends and all.” “And we love you!” John added cheerfully with a soft, comforting smile, “like a brother, obviously. Remember what the Lord taught us? To love one another. And we wanted to show you some appreciation today, Twin. You deserve it!” “You guys…” Thomas swallowed the lump in his throat and sniffed. “Thanks, it definitely worked.” John gave him a thumbs up, and a cheeky grin while James pulled him in a headlock and ruffled the younger man's hair. “By the way…” Thomas began, swatting James away from him, “where did you even hear that song? It's not something we'd ever—” he cut himself off upon realizing the answer. Gentiles. He glared at them. Then an idea came to mind. “I dare you to do this to Peter. Ha!” “No way,” came the immediate response from John as he folded his arms. “Why not?” James chuckled at the grimace on his brother's face. “Sounds like fun.” John disagreed. The brothers argued. Thomas made his escape and headed to the temple to give thanks to God. His friends were idiots… but he loved them. He was grateful that he wasn't alone, that Jesus still saw him, looked after him—even if He was all the way in heaven right now. Thank you Lord.

Not inspired by the chosen, I don't watch that show anymore but I did use the imagery cause I thought it fit the theme. I actually visualised Thomas as someone with a head of golden brown curly hair, and chocolate brown eyes, I don't know why. And the actors who played James and John are suitable face claims.
I'm actually working on a Bible fic about John 21, and when I heard that song playing I was like it would be so funny if James and John sang that to Thomas who's also called Twin.
Hope you liked it!
Was fun to write :)
God bless y'all ;)
Write Good Stories as a Christian, Not Stories With a Christianity Sticker Slapped on Top of It
“The world does not need more Christian literature. What it needs is more Christians writing good literature.”
-C.S. Lewis
When creating stories as Christians, whether it be books, comics, shows, plays, or movies, a well written and truly great story will connect with your audience better than a story forcefully stuffed with Bible verses. Am I saying that Bible verses are bad? By no means, I am simply saying we already have God's Holy Word and Church as well as many teachers to relay Bible verses to those who wish to learn from them.
Think of the Chronicles of Narnia or The Lord of the Rings series, written by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien respectively. Neither of these series appear to be inherently Christian at first glance; after all, there's no direct mention of Bible verses or God in either of them. But when you take a deeper look you notice that both these series have biblical symbolism, parallels, lessons, and God's Truth ingrained in their DNA.
The Ring from Lord of the Rings clearly symbolizes temptation, tempting its holder to put it on and allowing Sauron (Satan) to corrupt them and control them. Think of Gollum, who has become so transfixed and obsessed with the Ring that it physically and mentally transformed him into a monster.
The same goes for Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia. He clearly symbolizes Jesus Christ, being killed on the stone table by the White Witch and rising from dead later to save Edmund the same way Jesus Christ bled and died on the cross before being raised from the dead to save us from our sins. (I myself didn't realize that Aslan was meant to be Jesus until it was pointed out to me and then the whole series of Narnia made way more sense)
The point is that Christian story tellers should write stories that reflect God's truth instead of blatantly slapping Bible verses into your story purely for the sake of them being there when they do nothing to advance the plot in any meaningful way. You're more likely to just scare away your secular audience this way and even fellow brothers and sisters in Christ may find your story to be bland and flavorless if there's no meaningful plot.
If you're a Christian story teller, ask God to give you discernment on how to write your story; He's the one who created the universe and made you in His image to be creative like Him.
About me
Hello! Welcome in!
The purpose of this blog is to show how Jesus's love inspires me and how I am a 'hopeless romantic', so I use fictional men to inspire how a godly husband can love his godly wife.
WHAT I WRITE: ✿ Fluffy stories about fictional characters, Christian readers, and both of them together.
✿ Jesus Christ is at the center of all my posts.
✿ Add Bible verses (based on what inspired me to write about or just a little piece of hope/advice).
WHAT I WILL NOT WRITE: Angst, smut, demons, aging up characters, swearing, politics, sexual assault, or anything of this nature.
FOR REQUESTS:
I watch a lot of animes and t.v shows, I play a lot of video games, and I read manga! Since I am an adult myself, I will only write stories about adults. I'd love to hear who you'd love for me to write about!
To help in time of need, my Bible has a section that shows Christian love.
Gideons International Version: I Corinthians 13: 4-8, 13.
"⁴Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; ⁵Does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; ⁶Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; ⁷Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. ⁸Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away." "¹³And now abide in faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."
I DO NOT CONSENT FOR MY CONTENT TO BE USED FOR AI OR STOLEN!
