Tbh to me being against ai isn't even about performance.
It's about humanity. It's about how people want to convey their own feelings through art. It's about how people learn to express themselves through art because they have something to express.
It doesn't matter that it doesn't look pretty, that an AI can do something prettier. What matter is that the HUMAN behind it expressed what they wanted.
I hate that art in itself is becoming mass produced, fast food consumption. It already been for gastronomy but now they're going true mask off. The movie industry in the west already bank on nostalgia to not have to take any risk and now they just want machine to do it.
Art, something made with a soul, a passion for it to be created, is just digestible "content"
It prove that art have been seen just like this for a long time and this bullshit about accessibility as an excuse make me puke.
It's the society we are in who make creating art harder. It's a symptom, not the solution.
But like I said it's not about creating with an actual love for the craft. It's accusing people who LEARNED in various conditions for each one to be fucking BOURGEOIS
We talk about the ai bubble exploding, we hear everyday about ai poisoning itself with its own content and yet it still invades our daily life
Just in fandom space I already feel like artists of every craft are seen just as content machine and not people. It change nothing to the audience that these artists can be changed into actual machine.
I'm just like... So that's what it was all about? This is how we were seen as?
I don't know how to end this post. I just want to enjoy human made video and such before it become impossible to discern what's real and not.
I don't care that AI is better looking or even realistic. I want to see what an artist have to convey to me. I want to share with them. I want to see their perspective. It's what art is to me.
