transadhd tips as a cisadhd:
☆ constantly fidget. anything and everything can be used as a fidget, not even just toys. click pens, play with your necklace, anything.
☆ if you’re in school, forget to do the occasional assignment. space out during class. think that you’re listening, but then realize later you were daydreaming the entire time. anything to get unfocused.
☆ mishear people. it’s not about not hearing what they say, it’s about hearing or interpreting it incorrectly. you have a much different understanding of what people mean when they say things vs what they actually mean when they say them.
☆ talk to yourself, and don’t realize you’re doing so. Just little whispers, possibly about your special interest or hyperfixation, and act confused when people point it out. it’s not even like you’re expecting anyone to reply.
reminder: this is only coming from my experience as someone with cisadhd, and this may not be what you have in mind.
