Build a Character, Then Build a Whole World

This is an unusual post bc it doesn't involve any analysis or thoughts about DMC or Transformers. 

On a (slightly?) related note, here's a fun fact about me no one asked for: I used to draw as a hobby for 2-ish years. But I stopped drawing because college life became overwhelming. 

I was looking back at some old photos and found some screenshots of a WIP (of 2 OCs) from 3 years ago. I actually planned to post the finished version, but that never happened. 

I'm sharing the screenshots here now. I can't exactly explain why I'm posting them, but the reasoning is something like: It's unlikely I’m going to finish this WIP, so I might as well post what I have now.

After all, the screenshots have been hiding on my desktop for years. 

I wish I could tell you what I was thinking at the time, but I made this over 3 years ago, so I don’t remember much. 

I do know I was experimenting a lot, especially with the line art and shading. Or that's another way of saying that I knew nothing about color theory (or inking) and was bs-ing my way with everything. I also had a weird spurt of motivation and worked on coloring and shading of random parts, but nothing else… so that's why one of my OC’s faces looks more “finished” compared to the rest of his body. 

So… long story short, this is an unfinished WIP full of anatomy, lineart, and shading mistakes from years ago. But those facts are somehow not stopping me from posting it.
